Yes, or prevent a broken factory key (extremely common for the 100 series and the handful of Lexus models that used that same style key).




For reference, I sold 173 key kits aside from the YMD1 last year. That covers the 200, 80, 4Runner, and others. Those 173 kits represent <5% of last year's revenue.

Getting presales or pre-commitments is great, but unfortunately we wouldn't need dozens. We'd need hundreds.

Some other numbers that make it unlikely for the 2018 kit to have demand: They sold around 20,000,000 vehicles which use the YMD1 style key in the US. They sold around 13,500 2018+ Land Cruisers. That means the market for that YMD1 is about 1,500 times larger than the 2018 LC.

Any update on the 08-15 LX key fobs? Needing a couple here soon.

Thank you for the check ins. Unfortunately, no update right now. I'm aiming to hire an employee sometime this year. That would allow me to transfer my order fulfilment and customer service time over to new product development and knock this one out.

While the LX key hasn't made much progress, we did make a much larger thing recently which will be going in an LX570. I'm either designing something smaller than a hand or larger than a person.

That may be a missed marketing opportunity. Especially once you get that thing extended all the way and use the rear coil springs for some bounce!

Too many variables involving lifts, spring rates, tire sizes, weight from aftermarket bumpers, weight from cargo, etc. that would affect how springy the diving board needs to be. You would probably need 20+ versions of it to satisfy everyone.

Sooo much better than the stock remote. Premium fit and finish and well worth the “long wait” . You can actually see the red light now when you press a button, Thanks again.

Unlikely in the next 6-12 months. Lately due to relatively low volume.

This is in the "upcoming queue" but it has been for a while. My current plan is a more upscale remote than my normal kits. Likely polished titanium more similar to jewelry than the simple industrial version I do now.
