I think mine was slightly less (~2800)BPM, the 2 5/8” stroke should help! Mine is a little less in that area as well
Thank you!

I plan to drop the fuel tank at the time seeing as I need to put a new used fuel pickup in I’ve had sitting around from @cruisermatt. Mine leaks if the tank is full. That will make it a bit less awful.
Good call. This will make your life a LOT easier.

Probably depends on what it costs vs a new one. I think new parts for tacos will be widely available for much longer than the 60.
Ok, kinda doubt I’ll be putting in a new alt anytime soon (or again in its life) but wasn’t sure if because it’s a denso, it would be worth keeping for something else? 60’s are typically 50amps right? Not sure what the taco one is?

Air hammer… smaller than I thought but heavy duty regardless.

I hope I wasn’t a dumbass ordering this for a way too rusted together c-channel frame. Time will tell.

Surprised the kid’s not driving the taco yet.

I think for everything else you’ve done, c channels are worth it. Even if you’ve gotta weld up some more patches. I’m sure you’ve researched the hell out of this but I’ve seen some folks packing grease behind the new c channels to keep water out. In your environment it might be a good idea to install some grease zirks in a few places so you can maintain it? I thought about doing it if I get to do c channels ever.

Zerks in an area that is flat metal mated to flat metal? But yes lll def sandwich a bunch of grease between. He really wants to be driving it… he’s not quite tall enough to finagle the clutch. I don’t dare start teaching that quite yet. Another year or so. He IS only 8.6 years old. He is the worst passenger driver. Makes me wild.

well, you can let him learn to drive not using the clutch. there's alot of men who don't know how to. yup, being the devil's advocate :flipoff2:
