So thrilled to have been the first person to see @woytovich post on fb for these. They are perfect for my 60.

Took the kid out a few days ago on some fresh snow and got into 4L. Kid tried his best to tell me how to drive until I had to tell him to shut-it! Had a guy coming toward me at the top of a narrow dirt road, I braked first which made me loose momentum even tho he’d pulled over… I chose to reverse back down about 30’ letting the engine

I'm sure he learned to drive in snow playing video games 😁
Exactly! That and @Spike Strip his Italian genes… combined w/ my stubborn streak combined, they tend to really get in the way.

Fun drive into work today. Leaving might be more fun. Verbal correction, when I say 2L I mean H4… dumb girl.

So my headlights suck, I really need to get into the LED upgrade. Can someone guide me?
And my heat works but it’s not very powerful. Blower makes no noise so I’d think it’s not loaded up w/ debris… thoughts?

hey felicity, there's a thread here in the 60 section that is quite in-depth re: head lights. i read it a couple weeks ago n can't remember the title. leds without a heater likely wouldn't be nice for you in the winter cuz of snow build up. i'd entertain halogens. that's what will be going on my 60 as i've run them on my previous trucks n loved em. i'll try to find that thread.

Huh… I think I do have that thread saved. LEDs require a heater? I just recall the wiring requires some wonky reversed resistor or something like that. I’ll look into it. Thank you.

Get the upgraded Koito H4 from the dealership. Comes with a harness cheap and easy. You can put LEDs in later.
If you don't have one of those infrared thermometers yet and you want one, you now have an excuse. That would be the laziest way to diagnose the heater.

Yup just found that too.
A infared gun thing. Yeah I have one… so where would I check it?

@NeverGiveUpToyotas , yeah, leds do not heat up like incandescent or halogen bulbs do so they don't melt the snow build up on the head lights. the thread i was referring to has some amazing comparison pics between different bulbs. the pics are fairly close to the most recent posts

I’ve not had the pleasure, but from what I understand the light from a lot of the LEDs scatters in snow and rain much more as well, impairing your vision.
