I canceled mine no easy Task.

I dumped mine in the 2020 “summer of love”, don’t miss it one bit.

Social media can be (is to me) just a nasty time wasting place where people act like arseholes to each other. Not a fan at all.

Cheers

The 70 series group on FB is just awful as well (sorry if you are a member). At least on ih8mud there is more posterity with better moderation. It didn't take me long to decide just a couple months of trying FB was enough.

On FB, the posting structure doesn't do much at all for posterity because most of the posts have little to none tech value with a lot of bickering there and there. Anything you do want to find gets buried under so much crap.

Not to mention the ad spamming and data harvesting plus lack of privacy.

I have a FB story about ole Joey from my last few months on there. It’s a campfire story though but it is was clear to me why he liked that app so much. 🤢🤮🙄

Cheers

Same address but a Vincent Michael Romero is listed as the Agent/Manager of the LLC, which they formed 05-17-2024.

Internet Sleuthing isn't difficult.
Um, Joey (Joseph) and Jess (Jessica) have a son…Vinnie. Back in another life, when Joey and I were in the Trail Crew 4wd club, they all came to a party at my house. One and only time I met Vinnie.

People are so gullible !
Of course it's Joey, Toyota parts the name Romero it's a no brainier !
Once a thief always a thief !

This also appears to be a new venture for him:

Interesting he is staying completely away from Land Cruisers.

Registered in wife’s name, same address as the others.
A no "About us" at the bottom or top should be an alarm for shoppers.

A business not willing to reveal who they are, their location, how they develop their products etc is trying to hide something or not reveal who they really are.

I had scheel mann seats installed in my 2nd gen Tacoma and it can be done without this package but this defiantly would make it much easier for sure (assuming it actually works). However this seems to be for exclusively for models with occupant sensors mounted at the feet of the seat mounts, not the in seat bladder type occupant sensor which I had.

I gotta say despite the all the negative stuff about Joey, this is a really nice set up / package offering. It is a much cleaner way to do it.

Occupant sensors is the most tricky part to get right.

The fact that he jumped right back into new ventures tells you 100% that there were no sad violin excuse reasons for what happened, he was just a scammer who decided there was more money in being a thief than in being honest. He got away with it.

Also the fact that he's still developing products is interesting in regards to what happened to the old stuff he developed, looks like he didn't lose any of his old connections and things are just veiled business as normal.

All of this just stinks to high heaven, it's disgusting and shameless.

How do you know? It is just a web site with words he wrote.

There are also plenty of issues raised at Tacoma World, where he is getting push back. I bet they would love to know how many people lost money to his prior business.

Just because Im bored on a Satuday night, I opened that thread, and this line just sounds like complete bull**** to me: "Last year scheel-mann came to us to engineer a solution to be able to replace a Tacoma owner's old seat with a scheel-mann seat." I just find it hard to believe that with those seats being an option in the 80 series, that they didn't know anything about the rest of the shenanigans that were going on with WE and much less have them, of all people, engineer their solution when they knew that the name was worth two squirts of piss in the Toyota world..... that's a pretty big chunk of change for a seat upgrade for a market that will most likely do some digging on who they're buying from....

I have been a member on TW for awhile, it is totally believable that they would have not known a thing, even with a cross over in Tacoma/80 ownership.
Tacomas have a low barrier to ownership relative to 80's every Tad, Blake and Devin owns one. The biggest question on their minds is can I fit 285's without rubbing.

No truer words have been spoken.
