Not to take away from anyone's business, but I have two OEM grey plugs just sitting here. If you're willing to pay shipping for them, just DM me.
hopefully we will survive you taking that $4.30 out of our pocket

That's funny - yeah, my caveat wasn't needed. Just trying to play nice in any event. I intended with that statement more to mean that this probably isn't the right thread to comment that I had them available.

In any case, I'm glad you all have picked up some of the parts catalog from WE.

I'm creating a new post following a lengthy discussion in the turbo owners thread about various issues in communication and delivery of turbo kits. Personally, in spite of all of the challenges I would still prefer to have the turbo and I'm happy to wait. I love Joey's gear. However, given what appears to be growing evidence of fraud I have little hope of receiving it.

@NLXTACY - I'm twenty-three months in without communication about a $6,000 item that was promised within a year. There appears to be six-to-ten others just on turbo orders alone, likely more though. Like others, a basic status update and estimate of delivery - two sentences tops (which noting your social media habits should not be an issue) - and I would be fine. I'm happy to be patient. I suspect others would be as well. But your approach is unprofessional and surprising given the amount of money we're talking about here and the longstanding loyalty of the customers that you're subjecting to this nonsense. "I get to choose who I want to have as a customer". and all of your variations of that do not apply here. You've already chosen and have failed. It's time to deliver on your commitment.

Many of your other projects and orders ship, you provide updates enthusiastically, you develop countless new products and custom projects, and your personal and market supply chain issues don't appear to effect those. The lack of communication is the absolute worst thing here and leads me to assume the worst.

Assuming you ignore this like all of the other attempts to reasonably communicate, I will continue my efforts with the BBB (Case #20245438), FTC Fraud Department (Case #161368493) and the Oregon attorney general's office and will solicit support from other customers with issues to bolster the cases. If you are not aware, with my order alone, you are blatantly violating federal consumer protection laws with significant liability.

I think it's import to collect all of these issues in one spot to prevent problems like this in the future for others. Plenty customers have made large purchase decisions based on the previously deserved but now misguided enthusiastic support of Wit's End.

For those continued supporters of Wit's End, please review these threads. He uses victimhood to garner support and distract from his many notable business failures (acknowledging some legitimate issues that while sympathetic, many business owners deal with and successfully navigate equivalents, including myself). I have been a rabid supporter of Wit's End and Joey for seven years, spent countless thousands of dollars, promoted the company, and even offered to buy him a ****ing building to solve his supposed real estate issue (that amounted to his own carelessness then blamed on his landlord). I'm disappointed I didn't notice all of this sooner but as best I can tell now, no other vendor has had as many serious complaints here that are cleverly dismissed. Regardless, in my opinion, what's occurring is not excusable for a prominent business owner and member of this community.

Happy to update this with other people that have issues or other locations documenting problems. I'm hoping the community can come together to create accountability.

@lazy - Do you want to add your order issues list here?
This is not the experience that I've had with Joey.

I know he's had a lot going on with his wife (BTW, I am not a fan of her info being posted here). In the call I discuss below, I asked how his wife was, and he politely declined to talk about her situation. I respect their privacy and didn't ask any more questions.

I've purchased various things from Joey over the years, and like many of us lusted over his QPM solution but never got around to getting in line to get one (my loss).

About a year ago, I wrote into his site asking about wiring harness solutions for my 1994 OBDI, and instead of just replying to my email, he took the time to call me and share his knowledge.

My experience is that he's a deeply private fellow - with strong opinions about things, and is dedicated to solving problems - not just selling stuff.

I see many people have had a different experience than I have, so I am offering my experience for all to consider.

Thanks for listening

Moot. WitsEnd is no more via court order.

Dude stole $300k from Land Cruiser enthusiasts, and yet people still defend him.

Quite frankly your experience doesn’t mean one iota at this point.

Was it rally that large an amount?!? 🤯🤯
I thought I read that in the lawsuit. $300k, $30k. It doesn’t matter. Dude stole from our people.

The amount is public.

As @TheLCProject has mentioned, the total owed was over $300K to customers. Of that $300K, $104.5K was for turbo orders. The rest was for unfulfilled orders.

It also looks like Joey was able to buy his vehicles back from the estate at a discount.

$10,925 for the following:
The bankruptcy estate's interest in the following: 1997 Lexus LX450 Development Vehicle (scheduled value $3,000, $3,000 exempt); 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser, Development Vehicle (scheduled 1/2 value of $3,000, $3,000 exempt); 1997 Lexus LX450 with 400,000 miles (scheduled 1/2 value of $2,500, $2,500 exemption); and Sailrite sewing machine (scheduled value of $950, $950 exemption)

External offers had to be at least $22,875 for the above to outbid.

We tried to get more out of them but the Trustee was a piece of work and denied it.
