Gross.

Have we actually heard of anyone during this timeframe actually receive a refund? Or were they saying they were selling spots for people they issued refunds to but never actually gave any?

Another in his long line of excuses…..we’re not talking about a bottle of OEM window cleaner, here. Joey knows damn well who has turbo orders out. He spoke with many of us in person and at length until the check cleared.

@Romer or any other mods…. I’m really curious about this.
FYI, the only person on the forum who deals with Vendors is me. Period.

Clearly no one is paying attention to the user account, since the Vendor status was removed earlier this year. Additionally, when a Vendor status ends, every thread started by that Vendor is relocated to a Vendor Archive within the forum.

Active Vendors have the RED Vendor banner under their username.

That’s good info, thanks.

He's really stacking the BS high on this one, anyone who has a retail website knows this is all garbage talk trying to fool people...

Oh and fulfilling 808 orders but can't hire half a monkey for dummy work....riiiggghhhtttt

Agreed. I've had website issues, lots back when I used WordPress and Woocommerce, but they were all easy stuff to fix. At worst an hour for a pro developer to handle.

Every business is different, but I sell similar stuff to Joey's products and a typical day is 2-10 sub $100 sales and a couple $400-$600 sales a week.

I'm pretty organized after doing this a long time and it would not be possible for me to ship 808 orders in a week without full time employees. At most, I'd say I could ship 100 orders a day if they were all the same and simple/small. But that never happens. It's always a mix.

This is Saturday, Sunday and Today's orders waiting for USPS to pickup today. This level of sales supports a decent wage for myself a couple employees in the shop and has paid for an 8k sq ft shop with 5 modern Japanese cnc's.

If I had tenfold the sales I do I could hire a shop manager and semi-retire.

I'm curious, this wasn't even a year ago....did you have any warning at all as to what was going on? Because even in 2022 guys had been waiting years at that point right?
I did know at the time that the parts were talking a long time to come in but was told orders were slowly going out. I was told I bought a spot in line from someone who has been waiting so I figured they gave up and I would be far up on the list by buying their spot. I am patient and can wait as long as I know I’m actually going to get the product but that doesn’t seem likely at this point.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone actually went to his shop and talked to him about this? I think it’s worth the trip.

12 hour drive for me but if that’s what it takes to get my turbo I would do it.

His supposed logistical fake mess is one thing, that stuff is all a blatant lie. But then to claim that you had no way to get customer order info because the site was hacked...yea that's not a thing there are a half dozen avenues around that you don't need to be able to get on the site dashboard to get order info. If you're collecting payments then that info is going to be available one way or another. That's besides even the idea that oh but hey whaddayaknow the site was still receiving orders as normal....right.

Him doing this and plastering his personal bs all over was the beginning of him creating a built in excuse to cut and run. Again none of it makes sense, if he was doing a quarter of the orders he was claiming his business had high value he could have sold it off easily. He collected for months knowing he was going to do this and if he had something in stock he shipped it, why not it's good cover, but if he didn't he just pocketed the cash with no plans to ever ship anything hoping enough time had passed so it was too late for a chargeback and extend it long enough to scuttle the llc.

He played it well, "selling spots"......sorry brother.

I'm a bit amazed he's been able to keep card processing working. I'm sure I've counted a couple dozen instances of folks filing chargebacks. My understanding is your card processing gets cut off after a couple of those.

It depends, you can pick up a high risk processor at a higher fee which won't boot you. But that's just pure speculation I'm just saying...

I think some of these pro-Wits End accounts that post in Wits End poor customer poor experience threads maybe possibly fake or Joey is texting people to defend him and his company.

You’re a 100% correct. Almost all his 5 star FB reviews were posted on the same day 9/16/21. He either has his minions post positive posts about him or he pays people. I’ve witnessed first hand local businesses paying or influencing positive reviews.

To be clear I have not purchased anything from him.

I’ve now read 5-10 threads about this issue.

I just don’t understand why NOBODY has taken legal action? Call the authorities in his area or the FBI.

I’m no lawyer but his has to be breaking numerous state and federal laws?!?!?! Maybe wire fraud, a law governing some form of interstate commerce, etc?

If he had taken $6k of my hard earned money and not delivered the parts I’d collect all the information from all these threads and turn it over to the authorities.
