I'm sure by now everyone has been beaten over the head with the "soon to be released" turbo kit that you can read about here:

But what if going turbo isn't for you? What if you LOVE the stink of diesel? What if you LOVE having hardware shaking loose behind a 4BT or 6BT Cummins Diesel?

I was contacted by a buddy who was one of the guys that was burned by "that diesel guy" and asked if I could make some stuff to make his dream a reality. As it turned out I actually had a free machine and I was still waiting on the very last pieces of the turbo build to come in, so why not?

I will be supplying the basics to start. This would include the adapter plate, modified input shaft and oil seal. This is for those that are mating the NV4500 transmission to the 80 Series' HF2A transfer case. The plates are machined and heading to anodize (I still need to decide on the color). There are other components that I will be working on as well such as an airbox that could pull double duty for the turbo folks as well if so inclined. Time will tell.

No pricing, link or release date just yet since I don't have all the info yet to detail those but it will be coming soon.

Because all of those are really fawking stupid. Ok, maybe not the heater hoses.

Another vendor that had these plates had issues with oil transfer from one to another due to those seals are really only directional. Solution was 2 seals one in each direction. FYI. Hope someone that actually had the issue chims in. I don’t use this product and just going from memory.

Another vendor that had these plates had issues with oil transfer from one to another due to those seals are really only directional. Solution was 2 seals one in each direction. FYI. Hope someone that actually had the issue chims in. I don’t use this product and just going from memory.

So, oil leaking, if an issue, doesn’t have much to do with the adapter. And isn’t the transfer case a sealed unit? I guess I could kick it over and see

But if you REALLY want/need two seals, the adapter itself doesn’t care.

Different problem looking for a different solution. That requires a bellhousing that I’m not currently equipped to take on.

Not opposed to going with an auto that bolts to the cummins to start, doesn't have to stay Toyota. Then just need to go auto trans to Tcase. Suppose I could just use the NWF Black Box to do that though.

Nice project for a good cause though. If I wasn't married I'd look at switching to a manual trans but as is it's not in the cards

Well this is my only job now. I’m also not going to make the popular mistake of doing customer installations. I’m good at one thing. I’m going to stick with it. I know my limits.

Toyota transfer case is sealed. If there is a leak it’s 100% not because of an adapter.
