Metal glove box insert, metal steering column surround, and metal D pillar and fender vents from another vendor, and yet still metal 60 and 62 grills with metal headlight surrounds from a third vendor, life is looking good for 60 and 62 series owners!
I just hope one day we'll see metal HVAC and gauge surround panels for the 62 series

IMHO photos are not going to be the best comparison. I would go to my local coater and use their chips to compare.
The color definitely is not the same. To my untrained eye, the powder looks darker and is less metallic.

That's a bummer. There are a couple powder coaters near me that I'll go to one day soon and see about matching up color chips to the dash metal in my 62. I'm sure it'll end up being a more charcoal or dark gray color.
@NLXTACY any thoughts on when you'll be taking orders next for these? I just filed my taxes and should get my return around the middle of February (IRS starts processing returns on the 28th of Jan). A glove box insert is on my list!
Last I heard was that they'd still be processing and issuing returns despite the shutdown. Fingers crossed that actually happens.

Just got mine ordered! 
Picked up from powdercoating.
$15 at local shop.
Color was intended to match the glovebox door.
Color Card: Cardinal #P008-GR21
FUP post- Compared color match this morning. Not even close. Several shades lighter. So, either the shop didnt use the selected color or lighting was bad when I selected. Either way, at $15 for a non-visible part not bad. I will use this as a reference for any future interior PC projects.
