Will 17x7.5 Toyota FJ Cruiser 8 hole wheels fit on my LX450 without any issues?

Just wondering if everything will fit without any modifications with 285's.

I think so search on Ih8mud is a rabbit hole sometimes but I think you may want to run spacers as the IFS setup on FJ Cruiser is a bit wider than the straight axle setup on your rig therefore the offset on FJ wheels is not as much as on the LX wheels and will set further in than the LX. Might be wrong:meh:

Yes they will fit. The wheels have more backspacing than stock (and are also a little narrower), so they will sit "inboard" compared to a stock wheel. If that bothers you, get a spacer 1" or 1.5"

Thank you

They fit quite nice with 1.5" spidertrax spacers:

Modern 6 lug wheels have 1 inch more back spacing to be precise for the reasoning listed above so a 1 inch spacer will put them right back where the factory FZJ80 wheels sit. I wanted a set of these FJC/T4R trail wheels for mine as I think they are the best looking modern option on an 80, but alas none ever came up for a reasonable price around me so I ended up with T4R/Taco wide 5 spoke.

Thanks. They do look good. I have a set of spider Trax on my Jeep and I've never had an issue.

no, they look terrible. No really.... well I kinda like them... Yeah, I like them A LOT. I run the 1.25" spacers.

Do you have spacers on it?

are these narrower wheels not an issue with big tyres?

Yea I’m running them with 1.5 spacers and 35’s

Man, you ain't kidding.

This is why I haven’t asked Discount to try the clip on weights like you did. I don’t know that they would fit on the wheel for one thing and I’m pretty sure I would shear them off in very short order.
