Which shocks are you using with your OME 2.5-3" medium lift?

I’m running icons on mine, night and day difference over the OME that came with the kit. I also run the airbags inside the coils for when I pull the camper, but Im heavy to start with.
Which icons?

I've got the OME heavy springs and just put in brand new OME nitrocharger shocks. So far I've given them a pretty heavy workout in Moab and in the mountains of North GA, not to mention cross-country driving. Huge improvement over the old blown-out shocks, and I'm happy with them. The ride is definitely a little stiff and I have no doubt that higher-end shocks like Icon would be much smoother, but for the price they are doing a good job.

Billsteins as well. Mine only have about 8k miles and one of them started leaking. The ride is nice and the replacement shock if i remember correct was around $88 from summit parts. No experience with others as this is my first LC.

Running Slee 2.5” Remote Reservoir Shocks. I have OME springs, 850 heavy in front and 864 extra heavy duty in the back. Before I had the old OME before the Nitro Shocks. Rear is kind of stiff unloaded but when is loaded rides awesome.

I have the 2.0, no reservoir for me. Not running much high speed wash board roads around here.
I think I'm doing the icon II shocks, Icon springs and Delta suspension.

My rig came with the ome medium springs but it had procomp shocks that were old and rusty and failed within the first year of owning the truck, I then proceeded to change to the fox 2.0 shocks and I also had two of them fail after 10 months and fox wouldn't do anything about it, so I just bought a set of ome shocks to match the springs that were still on the rig and they have held up great with no problems. I did not notice a difference in ride quality between the fox and ome shocks

I have the OME 2.5 heavy lift and was running the OME shocks that came with them for a few years. Last spring I changed out to the Tough Dog shocks purchased though @TRAIL TAILOR and they made a world of difference in the ride. Seems sooo smooth now. By the seat of the pants it feels like I get a bit more articulation too.

I went from the OME springs, to Fox 2.0, and now have been running the ironman foam cell pro's. I think they are amazing, and greatly improved my ride on and off road. ironman 4x4 America now has a North American store, not just a distributor, but an extension of Australia in Portland Oregon. highly recommend.
