I know, the visual makes all the difference. It sucks without pictures - bad picture taker (me) :slap:

I knew they were my kind of girls when they started talking about how much they love snorkels.

The above is not true just my fantasy that night:rolleyes:

Nice. I'm in NW AR, maybe we will cross paths before too long. Get to Disney ever?

Yeah maybe we will. I go up to Fayetteville every now and then to visit friends. I've only been to Disney once, but it was ages ago with my parents.

Took a short little drive out to the forest service roads around Packwood to exercise the lockers. After chilling at Walupt Lake by ourselves for a bit we managed to find some of that white stuff that's been so elusive this winter.

De-Na-Zin Wilderness - one of the most weirdly beautiful places I've been to. Very unique. Something new and strange around every hoodoo. The ground is a mosaic of petrified wood and polished rock. A kaleidoscope of color. Everything seems in a state of erosion. Fragile. You don't want to walk on it. And my pictures don't do it justice:

Sierra de Juarez Mountains, Baja Mexico - April 2015.

1.- Small Hike from we camped, great view around the area.

2.- Another view around the top.

3.- Selfie with wifey.

4.- Exploring some backroads nearby.

5.- We explored the roads closest to the mountain ridge, you can start to see the desert floor from this point (Laguna Salada Dry Lake Bed)

Sierra San Pedro Martir, Baja Mexico.

1.- Road to Mike Sky Ranch was extremely muddy, the slippery nasty kind of mud, still a lot of fun...
IMG_4433.JPG

2.- Here we are going from Mikes towards the Observatory, the road degrades exponentially, specially after the recent rains.
IMG_4439.JPG

3.- La Corona Ridge at the far end, memories from a failed expedition on a ancient logging road come to mind.
IMG_4479.JPG

4.- In the upper mountains, near the Observatory, weather was a little chilly.

5.- Remember the slippery mud near Mikes Sky Ranch? Well, someone tried throwing a couple of beers in the mix; result was a rolled, totalled car, no significant injury reported.
Now the fun part was to get the car out, another FZJ80 and me helped and slid like crazy in the progress; its all part of the game.
