Hello all,
Diving into my SOA but am at a standstill while I have a extra custom leaf made for the pack up front. Seem's like a good time to work on the rear. Where should I point my pinion at?
Option one would seem to be fairly step and right up at the rear U joint on differential. This will turn the entire differential up and away from anything on the ground, however, will require a double cardan if I'm not mistaking.
Option two clock it up 3 degrees which would match the 3 degrees the rear transfer case is sitting at. This would make both u joints parallel and only require a pretty basic driveline.
The kicker, if it makes a difference. This is all tied into a 203:205 doubler and even with an extended frame the rear shaft isn't particularly long.
Thanks
