Came across this prom picture (circa 1988) of me & my wife in front of my '85 SR5 pickup. 33 years later we're still rolling in a '85 4runner. I think she may be using me for the Toyotas

British Columbia adventures. Couple weeks outta date but meh.
I haven't spent much time in Colorado but I'm told it looks very similar in places.

Up the wrong line hahahaha not once but twice. Still 80% mini truck . Modded f toy frame 22re w56 with twin cases all marlin parts .8 x axles I have a build thread going In the hardcore section
Used the 85 to deliver a playhouse to our 3year old grandson. I wouldn’t tow this 16’ trailer on the hihjway with the 4Runner, but we were in town mostly in second gear. Only went about 3 miles, so I felt safe. I think we made someone’s day.

Went to Chivea Falls near Tucson. Pretty rough. I shredded a tire and bent my driver side slider bad enough to have the door drag over it.
My buddies TJ had a lower control arm rip off. Not a stock arm. Great day. Both made it home.

Recently bought a lake house at Medina Lake, Mico Tx. Put the 4runner to good use

@Txfireman that is a beautiful lake house! And please tell me, your wife, neighbors... someone was watching that couch lift completely freaked out while you just smiled with the winch remote in your hand.

The 12 years I've been visiting the park all we did was run the hard trails... Was so nice just cruising around exploring and stopping to throw rocks in puddles.
