Likely they're just too cheap to have someone cut out the parts with a lazer or waterjet machine. They're all of 75 miles from this company: Online Metal Laser Cutting | OSH Cut - https://www.oshcut.com/ who could easily bring back the parts quality.

Going to fix the 3.0 or going 3.4?

Yeah they were too cheap to send me the hardware that was supposed to be included. I was lucky to get the plates after 8 months. Some people haven’t gotten parts after a year.

Don’t really have any desire to drive the truck with the 22re any more and no desire for a V6. My buddy is wrapping up his 1uz swap right now so I’ll hopefully have the time this fall/winter to get a V8 shoved in

Somehow I thought you had a 3.0 in that truck.

I was just out there on white rim and in Moab a couple weeks back. Pretty awesome!

The truck did great for 2600 out of the 3000 miles in a week. About 75 miles out from okc, and after 650 miles of driving that day, number 2 injector became weak and I had intermittent power loss. I didn’t know this at the time and chalked it up to some Oklahoma headwinds. The next morning I fired it up for the final leg of driving from okc to KC and it was down a cylinder. Luckily I was at my parents so my dad and I tore into it, pulled the injectors, and had them tested and cleaned. #2 was weak and that caused excess heat in the cylinder burning up a valve in the process.

Dude, incredible truck. I'm all about this rig!

Used the 4Runner to haul a load of gravel to finish burying frost proof hydrant. Then decided to pull my 69 fj40 out of the spot it’s been sitting 6+ years. The 22re in 4lo pulled it without a problem. Sure enjoy this addition to the Toyota stable. Took me awhile to find this 85, so will be keeping it a long long time.😎

Last weekend adventures north west of Nordegg, AB.
Seriously, Canada is on my bucket list for this summer. Assuming the twits in Ottawa and D.C. open the border.

Went to Reno to shake out my new suspension and camping set up.

Rubithon 2021 with my older son. We had a great father son time and of course the Rubicon

Found myself with a few extra days off over last weekend. What a time it was, went to a distant corner of the province, an area I had heard of but never visited. Far enough from the beaten track it takes some commitment to get there. The payoff was huge. I found myself reminded exactly why I do this.
Gotta go to Canada. Open the damn border!
