Probably not one of my smarter moves but loaded up the 7k trailer and drove down to Hollywood this morning and bought this forklift (weighs about 9700lbs).
4k lb capacity, side shift, 3-stage, and has the fourth lever for a future fork positioner. Doesn’t run, but cranked over and sounded like compression was ok so I paid the $1200 and headed home. around Fellsmere sheared all the lugs off one of the trailer hubs, luckily a good friend lived close by and was able to bring a hub out.
Got back, pulled the dizzy cap and found the contact pin for the rotor missing.
I need to find a propane tank now.
7” googly eyes are inbound already.
