looking at Ornch today for first time in awhile, this is under glove box, 1974, part of a/c?

That's what i would assume. Mine with aftermarket "Climatic Air" has something similar but vent apparatus sits in front of it.

Looks like a ND tag on it - if so all ACs were port installed (factory) back in the day.

Interesting for me as well.. Looking at the firewall in the engine compartment are there two hoses/lines (supply and return) that enter into the cabin that basically line up with and enter the backside of that box that has the ND sticker on it? If the engine and AC compressor are still intact, the lines should be traced to the AC compressor. My AC box is installed in a very similar manner, with a two piece box under the dash.. I'm interested if you take it out....My pig has a dealer installed Clardy system..Cali truck sold out of Longo Ca..

Im curious to know how it drains the moisture out of the box? Is that a water/condensation collection basin I see below it in the bottom right of the pic? Thanks..
