Sprayed the entire interior floor with Raptor truck bedliner spray.. Worked awesome. Great looks and function. I sat and stared at it in misbelief at how good it looks in these 40's. Called my painter today and sending it off to paint in the next 2 weeks....

Slowwly but surely...
Capped the ends of my bumper, took out the heater core and ran CLR through it to clean it out, installed a higher temp thermostat, put cardboard in front of radiator (not sure I should have bothered doin the heater core and thermostat), and wheeled it in the snow! 
Well we went to Harlan Ky on saturday so on thur and fri I worked on the cruiser alot. First I replace the front rotors and brakes. While there I repacked all the bearings and greased the hubs. I next went to the back brakes and found out one of the wheel cylnders was seized so I rebuilt all four of them. Last and not least since I use mine for 4wheeling I installed amy Lock-right easylock in the rear. Was a lot easier then I thought it was gonna be and didn't take very long. Then drove 160 miles to harlan and wow that locker makes a world of difference. We had a great day wheelin and rode on the trails from about 10am and didn't get off the mountain until about 6:30pm. Would have been off about a hour earlier but came down this red trail and BAM a broken Jeep. lol It was really cold, dark,and muddy so we couldn't leave him there even though it was a jeep.
Played in the snow.
ug, removed a mess of heater hose t'd into the wrong spot.( PO had spliced oil cooler into water pump bypass) and picked up parts to get her going again (Alt, plugs, plug wires, and a new coil)
Replaced the dashes in two of our fj-62s. MIke
Got my 3/4 tub from ccot last week so I separated the cowl from the old tub and started preppin' it for the marrige.
had some rust to patch where the cowl and tub had been joined. the rust was pretty close to the same on both sides.
so I started working on prepping for patching.

Hey DenCo40, How'd you mount the rear seat, did you use the TJ brackets or fab up something?
How much those new dashes run you, if you do not mind....

I picked up the dashes over the years and I finally put them in .It took about 4 hours because we cleaned out all the nooks and cranies with a paint brush and air hose. 20 plus years of back country dust needed to go. I really dont remember what I bought them for but they sure make the cruisers look good. MIke

Very Common
Many gusset the mount to the frame to prevent that. I found the same cracks in my first frame when I scrapped it.

I used the brackets that came with the seat. Super cheap and easy to do..

Reinstalled the engine and gearbox as part of the rebuild.
I bought new shoes for the baby! I went back and forth on 33/10.5 or 31/10.5. when I went to get the tires, the only 33/10.5 BFG AT,s available were in Alabama and they only had 5. Shipping to central Cali. was over 200 bucks! It seems these tires are getting as hard to find as the elusive 33/9.50 was a year ago. Oh well, at least if I trash one, almost any tire shop in any town will have a 31/10.50 to replace it.

Thanks, I've been driving it for almost 16 years and still get "giddy" everytime I drive it. These things really do get in your blood.
