Yesterday I picked up a 1987 FJ60 donor vehicle up in Phoenix.
Today, I stripped the FJ60 axles from the hubs to the knuckles for my FJ40 disk brake conversion and pulled the diffs.
A couple of days ago I also bought a complete fine spline rear axle and an empty front axle tube.
Tomorrow I will pick up a fine spline inner front long axle and strip the rest of the parts that people here wanted.
Then I plan to take the donor vehicle to the metal recycler and return the truck and trailer I borrowed to my brother.
The project continues.

Too much rust and wreckage for the classifieds?
The reason why the PO sold it is because of the rust.
And he actually already striped and sold quite a bit of it.
And it is in the classifieds with pictures for anyone that is interested in the parts but I need to hear back today.
However, I don't have room to store it to wait and I need to return the truck and trailer it's on.
Installed new OME springs, OME anti-inversion shackles, OME bushings with greasable pins on the LV. It sits as it should. One step closer.
Next up: Should have the glass installed by the end of the week. We figured out what gaskets to use and found that the side glass and the front and rear glass are different. Other LV owners solutions didn't work for mine. I'm not sure if there were running changes made from year to year or if the other folk's have custom cut glass. I'll share what I found once we've completed the install and I know they work.

Ordered new battery cables and winch cables from @Fourrunner so I can clean up this mess. I think I have a little bit of extra cable here.
Will no longer need to keep a flashlight in the glovebox. 
Took apart my weber carburetor for the 4th time... re-adjusted my floats again. Went to start it and realized my battery was dead. So I bought a new battery and to my surprise ~ IT STARTED!!! and - it kept running!
Not sure why I had sooo many problems with it before. Nonetheless I took my daughter and dog for a joy ride. I haven't been this happy in awhile! I Love driving this Beast! Now I can start my long list of repairs
Next on the list: New exhaust pipes and tie rod replacement.
I will post some FJ40 porn pics in my next post!

Took the floor mats out and pressure washed them. The original front mat is cracked and worn in places but I don’t think I am ready to replace it. It cleaned up pretty nice.
When you are, shoot me a message. I have 40 Series stuff to trade or am up for buying...always happy to day-trip to Pensacola!
Installed the exhaust on The Weasel.
Blocking the doors- second coat.
