"Is there a book somewhere I can read about women ? About how to make them last longer ??"

You're in luck. I am the author of the definitive guide on this subject, which is often cited by bottom-feeding-lawyers, corruptible judges and fly-by-night marriage councillors. If you want I can get my Nigerian cousin to PM you my banking details so I can send you a personalised signed copy together with our embossed and personalised standard guarantee for a happier less stressful life.

It is printed using only organic non-GM ink on 100% recycled soft and absorbent paper, with each page individually perforated for field-use should the need arise. But wait! That is not all! Every second page is impregnated with non-petroleum based waxes and can be rolled up and struck on the genuine leatherette back cover for easy camp fire starting. No more kindling. EVER. No Land Cruiser should be without one!

In addition you will get our field guide to choosing the correct colour for your Land Cruiser. Yours to keep and use (ABSOLUTELY FREE) for a million-billion years.

Problem with women and choosing the color of your LC is that from the outside it looks easy and you can see the mistakes before they are made. Once your on the inside all perspective is gone and you act like the person you were mocking from the outside.

Women and LC colors are personal and should be chosen as such. A color choice is easyer to defend when it is your own, women ....................

Sorry can’t help you there.

installed my 12ht into my 47 over a weekend. because, y'know, it's a dd:):) it's smooth. i didn't really have time to clean it up and paint it before i put it in, so.... it is what it is.:frown:;):)

Was driving back home, and every time I looked in the mirror there was this rusty old 40 series following me!

Well, I finally started fooling around with the MIG welder I bought off a friend of mine 6 months ago. I've never welded before so I started sticking some random steel together. That got boring quickly so I decided to make a bench vice metal bender out of 11 gauge just to see what would happen...

The welds are hideous BUT the seem to have held...

They are at least strong enough to withstand bending some additional 11 gauge...

It seems to work - a little cumbersome to use, I'll probably inset some magnets or something to hold the bender to the vice to they're not constantly falling off when you're trying to use them...

I will probably also need to add a spacer to the front jaw as the neck of the vice really prevents you from using the center (literally no thought went into this).

Mostly just welding practice - I have a LONG way to go before I unleash my new found skill (or lack thereof) on the land cruiser - but I had fun making this entirely useless tool!

Agreed. If it's simply for function focus on good heat penetration. You can look up diagrams on this for the material.

Some of the industrial welding I've seen and done isn't concerned with pretty coining, but good penetration. I used to build bridge cranes.

Last trip out off-road the fuel gauge stopped working.
Finally got to opening the inspection cover for the fuel tank sender. Unplugged stripped cleaned and sanded terminals reconnected and working again. The plastic insulator on the connector sender side however has perished. So it may become more of a frequent issue. may have to seal it with something to prevent shorting when wet.

Got the rear main seal replaced along with the input and output seals on the tranny and transfer case. Found a bad u-joint which was causing a vibration. Hopefully Miss Scarlet will no longer need a bed pan in the garage!
