Getting ready for my son's "Mancation" or as I call it, "Bro fest", which is our annual camping, wheeling, deer scouting, cigar smoking, eat like kings, and all around get outta' town for a few days, story tellin' trip. The Cruiser is tuned , serviced, inspected, etc. so I painted the shocks because I was bored. :meh:

Found the wire that was draining the battery, writing down parts to order, ordering parts, waiting on parts, from Onur @beno and made a loooong to do list. Will be another big project. Thanks Onur.

All the telltale signs are there Tom; its a '73.

@65swb45 Good point Mark..............you the man! BTW the parts arrived......any idea what color the heater pipe was originally??? Would love to know what you found on the carb too....................................Thanks!

It's a 74'

Interesting.

The factory buckets tell me it's not older than a '73.
The overhead wiper motors say it's not newer than '74
The clincher for me is that a '74 would have had the tri-color taillights. What gives there?

It's more fun guessing bra sizes!

I've seen the pipes two ways. The brass ones were painted black; thevsteel ones were yellow zinc.

I had plans to tear into the carb, but two paying carb jobs showed up right after, so the investigation will have to wait.

Cool and thx again Mark.

Sag Steering nearly completed.

I also received a few pictures from a fellow Cruiserhead out of state on his current build.
I sold him the seats (in much worse condition) a little while back. He has since restored and installed.
Its nice to see what things have become and how you can help other enthusiasts move their projects along.

Agreed. All my cruisers have bits on them I've gotten from other guys on the forum. The seats in Ruftoys are from @Wilson , the exhaust is from @Mace , the rear springs from @Cruiserdrew. The trans in my blue 45 is from @ROOSTER , the seats from @poorboypulling. The motor in the karma cruiser is from @FJ45Dude. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

It's a two-way street.:)

Put the roof on, now just waiting for hinges and pins to put new doors on.
