Rollbar Addition

I bought an old aftermarket rollbar, had it sand balsted and then did a rattle can paint job. Mocked it up and installed it the other night.

Today I had my chassis moved from my garage to the paint shop (photo 1), while at the paint shop I verified the color I want the rest of my 40 painted (photo 2 and 3) and lastly messed around with the bezel

Where did you buy this roll bar??

Started tearing out my old headliner that was sagging. I tried to do it with the top on. Oops. The foam was moldy flew everywhere. Now I have to take the top off for sanding. I am thinking about Line-Xing it. Any thoughts on that?

I picked it up at Wimberly 4x4 (I-35 location). Probably paid too much but it was in good condition and cleaned up very well after sandblasting.

Ah yea? They are good at taking as much money as they possibly can... Fjsnoozer has one for me, I just got to find the time to get up there and pick it up... Btw are you in San Antonio or Austjn

Changed the old 3 speed tranny and T-case for known good set why? Coz I like the 3 speed. Shifts smooth as silk now. But My helper broke my door glass on my pre 74 doors and they are a major b--ch to find here.:bang: I wanna wring his neck lol!

I was going to Line-X mine too but decided to do it myself to save money. I used hurculiner and it looks great!

Installed a new mounting bracket, belt, return line and tank seal for my saginaw power steering pump.

Finally got fed up with the transmission / c-box / speedo cable leaks and pulled the 3 speed and transfercase. I have also been getting a funny growl from something below and think it may be the transmission. I have had the oil line running from the trans to the tcase for awhile but checked levels and found the tcase over full and the trans down about half full. Time to fix it.

When I pulled the side cover on the tcase to remove the 2 bolts it looked like brand new. The trans top cover will come off tonight. There were some small pieces of metal on the drain plug...............

Also ordered a new clutch master and slave cyllinder. Also leaking.
