Huge thank you to all the folks who have posted so much helpful info on here. I could not have done it without the contributions of many on here. I am by no means a mechanic, but a very happy new owner of a 2013 LX, 165k miles when purchased. Drove it 1k miles home and noticed a radiator leak. Sat in my driveway for 2 weeks (you have no idea how frustrating it was to finally have the vehicle I have always wanted and not be able to drive it) while I ordered 3 different Denso radiators, first 2 both arrived with a broken stem off the radiator cap. Finally got that installed and did a few other things. Next on the list is f/r diff and transfer case fluid, and I would like to add a dash cam that plugs into the rearview mirror.

Radiator was not as bad as I feared. The last plug was not fun. The thermostat was not fun. The pcv valve was really gunked up, it still shook a little but nothing like the new one and i could get a little air past it. I highly recommend doing the PCV if you have not already, its ten bucks and takes ten minutes.

116,350 miles 3/22/25 - 4/11/25
Denso radiator # 2213153 $200 (rockauto)
Aisin thermostat/housing combo THT-005 $30 (amazon)
Continental upper & lower hoses 66442 and 66667 (rockauto)
8 denso plugs 5344 $6ea (rockauto)
PCV valve 1220438010 toyota part $10
Air filter bosch 5572WS $5ea rockauto
Cabin filter bosch P3502WS $6ea rockauto
Cleaned MAF
Cleaned throttle body
Changed oil - I cheated here and brought it to Valvoline. I need a bigger container for the 7.9qt.
3 new wipers - i ordered the denso's on rock auto before I saw that the LC/LX have framed wipers. Ordered 3 sets, so I will use those up. The denso's work pretty great, part #EVB24 and EVB22 (rockauto).

did this little 1 banana project. So much nicer than the gaping holes.

At the cost of these I'm curious if this is purely a looks thing? I see you've got HE wheels as well.
Yes exactly. I prefer the look over the chrome. The rig came with the HE wheels and the Land Cruiser badges so didn’t spend the cash for those thankfully.

New skids, who dis? I'm pumped to have these skids from Dissent installed finally. If you have an LX570 and are considering these, my installation didn't allow for the optional stiffener brackets. I guess time will tell how critical those are to the performance. The install gave me a good reason to attach some much needed spring cleaning.

New brake pads. My wife is a late braker and got less than 50k miles out of the front pads I put on the LX @ 150k. Crazy.

These are OEM Tundra calipers, pads, and lines.

You can barely see the old pads:

That's called getting your monies worth out of pads before one ends up having to pay the piper for new discs.
