If the battery is out of the key relay attacks won’t work. Or the foil wrap..
Plus I personally view these hide a keys as something to use in limited circumstances like at a hiking trailhead. I wouldn’t be using it full-time.

Don’t forget that you can “put the fob to sleep” so that it doesn’t broadcast a signal and drain your fob battery. More importantly, it takes a button press to wake it up, so I believe it should be immune to discovery in a relay attack.
Press and HOLD the lock button > press unlock button 2 times > release lock button. The light will blink 4 times.
Your keyless entry will no longer work until you press any fob button to wake the fob.
