Looks great! Running spacers with those Tundra wheels?

Yes. Currently on 1" spacers with Tundra +60mm offset wheels. Pretty flush. But this is temporary as there's not enough room on the inside to party. Need some more clearance against the UCA, sway bar, and probably frame. Hoping 1.25" spacers will do the trick, even as they make fitment on the fender side more work.

I went with a 275/70 partially bc I like the little skinnier and taller look…and no spacer needed for HE wheels.

We had a “cold front” coming through this weekend (high of 92) so I knocked out the ATF exchange I’ve been putting off. Figured out the hard way that the return line is the bottom line on the 8-speed, not the top. Now I’m pressure washing my driveway.

Quoting myself on the transmission question - I went ahead and did a drain and fill - I’m too big to squeeze under on the ground so I jacked up the frame near the a-pillar about 8” on each side - when I pulled the drain plug I got almost 4 quarts - when I pulled the straw tube I ended up with just over 5.5 quarts drained; more than I anticipated. Does that sound right? Maybe I got a little more because of the angle the vehicle was at?

I finally removed the stock roof rack rails, and installed a set of LFD Off Road's Ruggedized Crossbar Bundle. Easy Peasy! It took this old fart about an hour total. And a fair bit of that time was my insistence on exactly equal spacing.I then modified two sets of Malone SeaWing Kayak Carriers so that they would bolt directly to the LFD crossbars instead of using the supplied traditional clamps. A much more secure system than the previous setup.

Hows the wind noise? Contemplating either just the rails, or the entire 3/4 rack. What made you go with just the rails?

Yes I was talking about the lines coming out of the transmission. I got just under 3 qts out of my pan. Could’ve been the angle you had the truck but also I believe more fluid will settle into the pan the longer the truck sits. If yours isn’t a daily driver that might make sense.

I pushed/rolled it out of the garage cold to jack it up to leave it all settled.

Well paint is perfect minus a few left over glue spots so it did what it was meant to do. But, my god this is a real pain to remove.

8 speed I assume. If sitting overnight, you’ll get about 3 qts from pulling both the drain plug and overflow tube. The angle you had must have led to the much larger amount. Might make it tricky to get the final fluid amount check correct. How about getting a set of 4 Rhino Ramps to get under the beast easily?

I am not sure if I will wrap it again or just ceramic coat it with paint protection film on the hood. I’m debating on putting the front bumper back on and doing the hidden winch. If I do that I will keep it silver.

Ceramic coated my new RTT. I'm insane. It's such big surface and paint seemed micro rough to hold water
, had an old C Quartz bottle. Worth 10mpg at least.

Yes, stock winter tyre - 285/60/18. The real difference is 32.6" vs. 31.5" stock size.
