Why I use Weatherbeaters… Five years ago, I got my then-2yo out of his seat of the second row of my 4Runner. He liked to climb out of the truck himself. But this time, he just stood there, staring at me with a confused look on his face while...

Just to close this thread out, for those that care, not that anyone does...lol I ended up having a friend at a local shop source me a used Tundra engine, swap out a few parts, and the 2008 is back in service $10.5k later. Public service...

Fixed the brakes with EBC Brakes and pads, stop-tech SS lines, and put new DOT 4 fluid in. Everything from EBC was super high quality. If you have any hesitation at all, go ahead ad at least ditch your Toyota pads, they are trash. There were...

Finally got every friend and family member I have tricked / convinced to buy a Landcruiser together for a trip to Death Valley National Park. 7 Trucks all together. 2-80's, 4-100's and my 200. It was so much better than I expected

I agree with these comments. I have since moved back to stock rear springs with 30mm spacers and the front on 4th perch. This to me has been the sweet spot for stock weight (3rd row) I only have 0.5" rake

2021 Heritage L/C 200 and 2021 Basecamp 20 X w/weight distributing hitch works great. The very experienced Airstream dealer recommended WD hitch and said nothing else is needed.

Picked up a '21 LC with 3,700 miles on it earlier this week. Very glad to be back in the saddle. My 2013 LC was sold with 348,000 miles last year and was the best vehicle I've ever owned. Here's to the next 350,000 miles. P.S. Shake down run...

Finally updated the worst thing about the LC200--->the cup holders. This is a new design that BH3D is coming out with. I was one of the guinea pig's who tested out this new version. It accommodates both a Yeti style tumbler and a Nalgene in the...

I just crossed 90K on my 2020. I off road for work, so I would guess there are about 15K dirt miles on there, and I rally as fast as I possibly can through it. This is where I always ditched other trucks because the rattling was unbearable, and...

More like over a two weekend period, but the 200 took me on two completely different but equally awesome adventures. It is great to have something that can both tow a trailer in relative comfort, yet still be very capable offroad. None of my...

I have @TeCKis300 to thank for this one, as I ran across a picture of his 100 wearing the same size. Your mileage may vary, your mission may vary, but I spend my off-road time in Texas on construction sites, gravel roads, and fields. I would...

Tesla still has the best range/$ of any EV in it's respective segment. So that's 2 big selling points. My model 3 is cheap, unrefined and occasionally frustrating. My 80 series has more stock sound deadening, a 1989 civic has more refined...

rusty87 replied to the thread Rivian R1S vs LC thoughts?.
Most EVs charge at home at night, which actually help by driving demand for base load electricity. The power companies then sell cheap solar power at peak rates while the EVs sit in the parking lot at work. In general, I see a small percentage...
