Just another boring odometer picture....

It’s broken in now ...

Had the OEM front spacers and 275/70R18 Toyo AT3s installed. Waiting on 1" Bora spacers now to bring the tires flush with the fender. Just the sliiiiightest rub at full right lock.

Picked up an offroad trailer today -

The trailer has a Tacoma bolt pattern (6x139.7) so I'm considering some 4Runner TRD Pro wheels in HE bronze.

Next up are some 33" Toyo RTs and a some suspension. What's everyone's favorite for a suspension setup with an occasional 3K trailer pull? I'd like to keep things comfortable around town but capable offroad. I'm guessing I need to just get some Kings or Foxes with airbags and call it good.

Just a heads up… If you join mud at the Silver level ($20/year) you can not only delete mistaken posts outright, but also nearly all ads go away dor a smoother, faster read. Also enables other custom alerts that you can control. Worth it if you frequent Mud a lot.

Got to raid the ASG 4x4 junk pile today and grabbed a new Rear tailgate switch - mine has taken a dump and made it very difficult to open the rear hatch and get to my tools at a jobsite. Managed to find an older (pre-2017 model) tailgate in this pile and voila, back in business. (for those interested, the later models have a different plug onto the tailgate switch harness). Six pack of beers heading to these guys!! There'd be about 50 tailgates in this pile - only one of them is a pre 2017 model. These guys specialize in cutting wagons down into dual cab utes, and there would be about 30 new vehicles in here getting converted at the moment. They've got more 200's in stock than all the surrounding Toyota dealers combined....

Also fitted some new Kaon Industries shock guards and a Kaon Industries rear shelf to try and organise some of the light crap that slides around in the back and gets jammed in the drawers/slides etc - I've still got a long way to go before it's "tidy", but the Kaon stuff is awesome.

I thought I was one. I paid at one point. Also thought I signed up for it to auto-renew. I suppose I haven't got it anymore. Where the link to redo it?

Ripped apart my dash and installed the Apple Carplay system from Custom Car Stereos in Australia.

Was a pain in the ass, but I'm in the process of making a video about the install that I'll make a separate thread for. Everything works great, but my biggest beef is that it must be on "aux" input, thus removing the capability to run the native SiriusXM radio on my truck. I can manually toggle connection or use the Sirius app, but still annoying.

So this is an Australian radio in a US spec LC?

Would love to hear more details on button use, function replacement etc.

Yes sir! All buttons remain functional, just press and hold the "home button" and it will either go to the carplay (which is running on an internal android tablet), or back to the native OEM system. Feel free to PM and I can talk more.
