Brought home another Landcruiser. First time towing something somewhat heavy with the 200. It did great for the 50 mi drive. Sat just a bit lower in the back but nothing major. I was able to go 65-70mph even on some moderately steep uphill grades. Used the S5 shift setting. I even passed another FJ80 on the last uphill into Reno. Probably the only time a 3FE can pass something....on a trailer.
Glad I grabbed the 200 for this job, I was impressed. Not sure what I am going to do with the 80. Bought it for some parts, but it came with a title and it should run if I can fix a tweaker damaged broken ignition cylinder.
Finally settled on a position for the SwitchPro-9100, tucked under firewall lip behind junction box. I modified a Tundra SDHQ mount plate (re-drilled and increased bend) and hung from studs used to hold wire harness. I'm using the inside cover of the junction box to provide a weathertight junction for the lighting wires run aft.
That looks sooo good without the running boards, I'm weighing the pros/cons of the budbuilt rock bars and how much we actually use the boards - but man I think you sold me.
installed Air Down Gear Up drawers. nice system - well made, well-thought out design to accomodate Heritage differences ,and very good customer service (responded within an hour several times on Sat morning). that said, i've never turned an allen wrench so much on any project in my life. feel like i'm qualified to install Ikea showrooms.

Got tired waiting on Slee sliders for the past 6 months and finally pulled the trigger on Metaltech 4x4 sliders for my LX - they should be here on May 11th! (In time to be mounted and operational for LCDC this July)
Had the same style sliders (from Metaltech 4x4 just a difrent way to mount) on my 100 series and they were stout !!
As a result of going Metaltech 4x4 route I will not need the plastic rocker panel covers that I had purchased and had painted in my truck color 1G8 (Twilight Gray Metallic) due to the fact that the front part of the slider for LX is shaped differently than the one for LC and would require to cut the LC rocker panel anyway.
The rocker panel covers for the LC or Lx with Slee Sliders will soon be for sale in the classified section.
For all you running big meats I hate yal. I still want more..
Gained a solid 1.5" from ground to fender. Front is sitting at 40.5-40.7 now but still look kind of small.
Planning on flexing front corners up this weekend to see if I actually need to take care of body mount or not. If so have everything ready. Rubbing driver side sway bar at full lock and close to body mount on passenger side.
I removed my third row last week, and today I put in my new Weathertech whole vehicle sunshades. All 8 windows are covered. In preperation for camping out of my LX.
Placed an order for the SS1 from AirDownGearUp full premier with sleeping platform. They are running a bit behind, so not sure when I'll get it.
I still need to order a mattress and window screen covers so it's possible to have open windows but be protected from bugs and still have privacy.
