What did you do with the seat release lever? Remove it completely or just tuck it out of the way?

I just popped the cable out of the assembly and removed the handle completely. It's only retained by the single bolt, the easily-removed (no tools) cable, and then it's clipped onto the trim panel. I did also remove the latch portion (along with the cable), but it wasn't necessary. Removing the upper latch does leave a somewhat awkward space in the trim panel that I want to remedy.

I'd really like for someone with 3D printer smarts to make a piece to re-purpose the latch panel (and the 3rd row handle panel (aka my new fuse block bezel), a cover for the gap in the trim where the 3rd row bolts to the wheel well, back door ashtray panels, etc...) @BenCC, @suprarx7nut and @bhicks have all been doing great things like this for the 80 and 100 guys for a while now (bhicks does make some badass 200 cup holders already, and of course suprarx7nut already makes the unbreakable key fobs). We just need to get them rolling on some more 200 parts - even though I'm certain they're plenty busy already! I'm happy to send them some panels for design.

The LX has a blank cover for this trim area as it uses electronic buttons in another position for motorized seat stowage. I believe you should be able to find the same interior trim colors.

I used this blank cover to mount my power outlets. Though you might just be able to use this 4-gang outlet plate, turned 90 degrees, to cover the hole left by removing the release lever.

For shame, I must confess. I installed running boards.

The PO has ditched them and sliders will have to wait. In the mean time the kids and bride needed a step. Compared to the old boards I had removed from the 80, these are pretty nice.

No shame. I’ve had sliders on my short list, but then needed new tires, decided to drop down to 17” wheels, so sliders on the back burner again. I yank my steps if I’m going “adventuring “ but as my girlfriend is height challenged, and has a bad knee from a hiking accident years ago....until the sliders go on the steps stay for around town. Gotta keep the peace

Took out the driver side third row jump seat. Let me move my cooler, misc stuff to the side a bit more, probably have 2 to 3 more inches which makes the passenger side jump seat easier for kids to get in and out of without climbing over gear.

After staring at the third row seat mounts for years decided to try something.
Took some abs plastic and cut out a small piece. Bolted it to the mount and took the torch to it(slowly). Heat gun would probably be the smarter way to do this but it was not here. Stuff just melted and formed around the mount. Massaged the sides to tuck under the factory panel with Leather work gloves while it was hot/soft and snipped off the rest. Am already happier looking at this, some grey paint and it should blend in good enough.

Went on the deer lease today...logging roads and other rough terrain. Tackled those roads with speed to "shake" the hell out of it. 3 to 4 hours driving 5 to 60 mph as we looked at our deer stands and checked gear. Intentionally used speed to test BP51 ride and make sure all was nice and tight. Everything is smooth and performed as expected. Took corners at speed with confidence. What was even better...i went where the quads and 4x4 mules went. Lol. A/C and cool water from the cooler box for the win.

That finish looks super clean. What did you end up using to finish the drawers?

Also, is that a MyFAK personal first aid kit? I hadn't considered using the reef drawer with the cutout like that. Looks great.

Thanks! It’s an industrial vinyl I was able to source through a friend of mine who runs a print company. It turned out better than I expected.

The first aid kit is just some bag I’ve had. Bought it on Amazon years ago and put together my own first aid kit.

Also, finished rock lights this week.

Also, is that a MyFAK personal first aid kit? I hadn't considered using the reef drawer with the cutout like that. Looks great.

@RiDE, how do you have the OVS 180 mounted to your prinsu? I've been wondering if the OVS mounts would work upside down or if you got the prinsu ones.

I used the OVS mounts with some aluminum spacers. Prinsu ones will not work since they are meant for smaller awnings like ARB, CVT, etc. The OVS brackets work perfectly with the Prinsu.

Finally got it back after being off the road for close to 9 months. Video above from GSL Fab as they were putting the motor back in it a couple weeks ago. Rebuilt engine, new turbos, new injectors, new AC pump, new alternator & new starter motor.
