I would have packed my stuff up and left when he was acted like a child.

Side note: I found myself in a ditch the other day. Totally my fault, thankfully my buddy was there to pull me out.

Finally got around to having the BP-51's installed on the wife's '16 LC, and after that all seemed right with the world until I realized that her rig was now 0.5" higher than mine. The tire diameters measure the same by my measurement (mine Toyo OC AT 285/65/18 and hers BFG AT KO2 285/65/18) I guess my suspension has settled a bit after 2 years? Perhaps I can get it adjusted, or maybe it's time to step up the tires a bit. In any case, I must dominate once again!

She said her LC is a bit difficult to climb into after the lift, and asked if I could reinstall the stock running boards. o_O After shuddering a bit, I promptly ordered Metal Tech sliders for her. Will be looking forward to that install and posting it.

On to more important things: In keeping with the spirit of adorning the ARB drawers with useful items, I found a way easily apply velcro hooks to the numerous Molle-backed pouches I have laying around. I purchased a long strip of 6" wide velcro on Amazon and cut to size. The pictures are self explanatory.

Added the Trail Tailor rear shock guards. Stout and tight fit.

That’s pretty clever.

Might put some Mille stuff to use that way.

Are the metal tech sliders back in stock? I tried to order a few weeks ago with no luck.

The site allowed me to order, but I’ll give them a call. Thanks for the heads up.

In my experience Metal Tech will charge you when the order is placed irrespective of the item being in stock or not...

I added an ARB dual compressor!View attachment 1920497

Nice.
Great compressor.
Love mine.

Keep an eye on pressure against the wires to the left (as photographed) under the mount. Might need to cheat them over a bit as some report a pinch. Mine are fine after several years, but worth mentioning.

Left Moab this morning and had to take the long way into Denver. Just dropped off the 200 with @nakman for a Gamiviti roof rack install.

Super nice guy and so nice to do business with good folks.

I’m heading home tomorrow, the 200 will follow in a week or two once the rack is done and then the interior build out will slowly continue.

What are we looking at here? Always curious to see what you are doing to your rig! :)

;)

That cutout had my inverter controller installed there in my driver door....

...but I now use another in the back.

So...I cut the additional circle in the cutout to accommodate the magnet on the back up a HAM radio speaker.

Needed a spot for a dedicated speaker, and the door location means if I’m out of the truck on a trail, my open door will let me hear radio activity outside without having to blast the ears of passengers.

Nice work, Sir!

I added a fire extinguisher and mount. This took a little time to do right and fit properly, but I am happy with the result.

And here is a close up of the mount. I used the large bracket, put it under the seat bracket, and put the extension arms inside the brackets so I would put the plastic trim covering back over the seat mount.
Thanks. This is on my to-do list (parts in hand, looks like same FE and mount). But haven't bought the bracket. Thx for the pictures. Was thinking of trying to roll my own and attaching it to the seat so that it stays tucked up when seat is moved fwd/back.

I know it’s for ‘08-‘19 LC. Toyota sent me a official recall notice and to make appt with dealer. All the dealer did was tape a wire so it didn’t come in contact with another wire or metal (I believe). Took 30 min.
Ditto. I got mailer for my 2008. Envelope states 2008-2019. "Passenger airbags could deactivate"
