Both uses are brilliant. Mind. Blown.
;)

That cutout had my inverter controller installed there in my driver door....

...but I now use another in the back.

So...I cut the additional circle in the cutout to accommodate the magnet on the back up a HAM radio speaker.

Needed a spot for a dedicated speaker, and the door location means if I’m out of the truck on a trail, my open door will let me hear radio activity outside without having to blast the ears of passengers.View attachment 1920780

R&R OG spark plugs...... All looked good for 100k miles of duty... The drivers side cylinder head plugs were a little but more corroded than the passenger side counterparts....

Thanks!
:) It’s funny bc when I first posted photos cutting “big scary holes” in my door panel, I think some thought I was nuts. :) But it’s like this big, accessible blank spot filled with foam and potential. The foam is super easy to carve out once you’re past the hard plastic cover.

I might end up re...re-locating my now-smaller inverter control panel there next to the speaker because it’s super convenient to be able to turn on the inverter while driving...and then remembering to turn it off...since the light is right there when I hop out to park.

Odd that you don't have any buttons on the wheel...

Enjoyed some desert time with it. We had some pals from our Expeditions7 Greenland Crossing team in town from Iceland and thought it only prudent to give them a true look at Utah. San Rafael Swell & Moab. These guys spend their spare time (and work) driving all over ice, snow and glaciers. They ate up the traction!

I did manage to wipe out a tire :(

Torvi the Polar Ice Ninja and I tag teamed on most of the (many, many) repairs in Greenland. He couldn't resist getting his hands dirty here too.

A few more for, the trip

Hey Kurt ... Is that the "Jack"? Thoughts on usage in the field?

That is the ARB Jack. I absolutely love it!

A bit of a sidestory but I'm involved in mobility training classes for US special forces. Using Hilux, Surf and 7x Land Cruisers we take them on a 5 day off-road route through rocks, mud, snow, sand and while we touch on driving, the bulk of the class is about training. One major component of the training is using the Hi-Lift and much care is given to outlining the safe use of said hi-lift, setup, positioning, etc, an hour or more is spent showing how to use the Hilift itself. We were setup in the sand using the hilift and I popped out Jack to offer an alternative method. Safe use took about 2 minutes to discuss and every soldier was like "yeah, we'll just order those for our Cruisers"

The Icelanders had the same thought. :D

After my last buying experience with ya'll, I wouldn't buy from anywhere else. Absolutely fantastic!

Right on, that is really great to hear. :D

I just purchased my LC last Wednesday. This morning I rotated the tires and performed an alignment. I was pretty impressed how well the measurements looked, the RF caster needed to be brought in a touch but it was pretty spot on. Im waiting on some goodies from Toyota to replace some cooling system components, that'll be next weekend's project.
