new wheels and tires went on yesterday.

That's my choice when I pull the trigger. I have the 5 RW rims but by the time I get tires and new TPMS sensors I could get a rear E locker for about the same price

Is that a standard color?
Wonder how it would look against the red.

It is definitely the same size, and just as heavy. Make sure you have a low stool to stand on when you pull these batteries, no need to blow a nut out if you don't have to. The Panasonic one had multiple caps to add water and the Yota stickered one seems to have the two caps for accessing the cells. Other than exterior packaging I'd say they're identical?

It is a standard color now. They were not offering it as a standard color on Dakar zero's when I inquired but I noticed that matte bronze was a standard color on some other models. We thought there would be an upcharge for a custom color but when main line overland contacted the manufacturer they said it could be done for no additional cost.

I think they'd look nice on red. Gold could look good too if you were feeling adventurous.

What lift are you running? The new wheels and tires look great!

Also do the TPms sensors with the OEM alloys not swap over to the RW rims?

not sure about pre-2016's, but my TPMS sensors were swapped to my RWs with no issues.

One more project complete (mostly). Installed the single ARB air compressor with @sleeoffroad mounting bracket. Pretty straightforward install with a little wiring help from some fellow mudder's (thanks!)

I'll be finishing the dash wiring later so just using the supplied switch and located it under the hood for now.

Odyssey 31-PC2150 battery in Slee's tray. Many thanks to my old friend Nick (@zebrabeefj40 ) for stopping by and giving me a hand. Install wasn't too bad, worst part was getting the nuts on the bolts up inside that fender. If I was doing it again I'd just go ahead and remove the front wheel.

While I was at it I swapped out the side (amber) and front (cool white) parking lights with LEDs.

Nicely done!

What LEDs did you use for the side indicators and parking lights?

I get all my LEDs from superbrightleds.com

The front parking lights are 194-CWHP5. The amber side markers are 194-AHP5. Really simple swap but you gotta pull the battery to get to the drivers side ones.

I've used those tower type LEDs before and for some reason they just don't seem to last. Some must be built for better quality than others. But hell if I can figure out how to tell the difference in quality - they all look to be the same.

I've also had issues with brightness on those tower type LEDs for exterior use cases.

If any of this happens or is a concern here is what I used.
They "seem" to be better quality and the enclosed construction looks to fair better to the elements.

Despite having experienced this myself - the install for KLF looks really good.

A little brighter option...

^Multi option listing - be sure to choose amber.

I've had these bulbs in my pickup for almost 3 years now, no problems. The folks are SBL are really good, if you burn one out just let them know, they send you another one. I really like how they have the bulbs in so many color options, no question what you're getting.

The parking lights look like they have a little blue to them. Is that just the camera picking it up, or are they a little blueish? I'm looking for very white temp. Is that 4000k or something like that?
