HAHA, Any respiration protection is advisable when you're dealing with atomized products. Check out the 3M half-face respirators. They're cheap and perform great, sub $20.

I actually had a pack of masks litterly 10 feet away in the garage. I chose laziness over potential lung cancer. I'll be fine, the carafe of scotch I pour over my liver each week is probably a bit more hazardous.

Emptied a can of Fluid Film on the undercarriage. That stuff doesn't taste nearly as good as it smells. Probably should have worn a mask.

I recommend some eye protection too.

These work great whenever spraying anything and are priced around 11 dollars.

Sorry, Kevin. My wife doesn't like my posting pictures while we're traveling. (Not that you all can't be trusted.) Plus, I was a bit busy preparing for our trip to Sedona and Escalante. (Some pics from that posted elsewhere.)

There are lots of pics out there for Slee sliders so I didn't include them here. They are working great! Also no pics of tires as KO2 pics are also pretty common. (And at the moment I have Nokians on for a drive to the PNW.

But here a couple pics with the ARB drawer installed and testing out how the "bed" will work.

Then a couple pics with the Gobi rack that I had installed last week. The configuration of stuff on top will change today. It was sort of an experiment. I wanted to see what my options might be like if I mounted the sun roof insert on the top bar and out of the way so I have it when I need it. But I need to put more gear on the rack for my next trip so I'll take the sunroof insert off, reinstall one of the moveable bars just behind the sunroof opening and then reconfigure my "stuff". In addition to the MaxTrax (which I will stack on the right) and the shovel I plan to use two of the ARB storm-proof (not waterproof) duffels to pack my camping and hiking gear. (I need to make room on the interior for suitcases, wedding clothing and a cot for our granddaughter as we are heading to Seattle for a wedding. Most of that will go home after the wedding with my wife then I am going to take a couple weeks to drive home going down the Oregon cost and cutting east somewhere TBD. That's when the bed will be used.) I like a lot of things about the Gobi. I do wish the top bar came a bit further back rather than making room for mounting lights which I don't think I will be doing. I could get 8-10 more inches of storage closer to the ladder. In the picture you see the removable/moveable crossbars are removed and the sunroof insert is mounted to the top bar just behind the sunroof opening. The black box fits right behind that sunroof insert. The tan duffel is the ARB one I plan to use (I hope to get another from Slee on Monday.

I need to start a build thread soon to document these mods more fully, but this weekend I mounted up a 40" light bar, Rigid Ignite reverse lights, and Labcraft scene lights for side lighting. Unfortunately my SwitchPros module is delayed a week, so I wasn't able to actually wire anything except the Rigids which I tapped into the reverse circuit.

I don't have any good straight on shots from before, but I've noticed the rear ARB bumper has rubber plugs to hide the Hi-Lift jack points. I thought it would be cool to fill those spots reverse lights, but I didn't want to lose the functionality or drill new holes. Rigid recently came out with their Ignite series of lights which are the smallest they offer but still give off 1,000 lumens of diffused reversing light while drawing under 1 amp. I tapped these off the reverse circuit on the trailer harness and grounded separately and they work and look great.

Got to work on some electrical today too. Installed dual battery system based on Blue Sea 7622. Northstar GRP 35 AGM. Added (2) 100A circuits, one to feed the passenger side and one to feed the driver side (one or the other will be used to send power to the roof in the same manner Kreiten did. Also ran a 35A circuit to the rear that powers (3) options: standard 12V, dual Power Pole, and dual fast charge USB. Under the hood I added another dual fast charge USB port for powering the GoPros. I still have to add the contura switch to the cabin but ran out of time. Next up I'll be adding some under carriage lighting and (2) 13.5" swivel LED lights to the rear hatch, I've got it all wired and one of them mounted, unfortunately the other was DOA so I'm waiting for the replacement (superbrightleds.com). I'll add pics once I have them mounted as I'm sure I'm not making much sense unless you happen to know what they look like. This was really the first time I worked with electrical bit it was fairly straight forward, I did do a lot of pre-planning so that I didn't have to rewire down the line for future upgrades.

Oh and added the fire extinguisher mount and a CB radio. Can you tell I'm excited for Moab!?!? 10 day trip planned around it, can't friggin wait.

Just received my rigid scene light knock off. Only 500 lumens, but only $20 too.

The USB and 12V are Blue Sea, the other is Powerwerx PowerPole. I think I bought all of it from Powerwerx however, including the 3 hole plate. All individual components so you could pick and choose based on your needs.

Got the gauge for the transmission temp set correctly (I think), but I have a feeling I'll be spending some time testing and customizing it. Via the tiny buttons on the back - what a terrible UI. But hey, still cool.

FYI there are 2 transmission temp sensors. One gives you the pan, the other gives you the temp after the TC. You'll want both, and may be surprised how far they diverge when accelerating under load
