Nice - is that beast going to fit in your garage?

It might be right on the limit, the M car is on that side and the motorcycles on the other, so I'll need to see how to make everything fit this weekend.

great problem to have man - congrats!

Finally picked this up! Bought her from @Angelo1, and am dang pleased!

I'm happy you're happy and still sad to see her go but happy she's found a good home with good people who will appreciate her. My girls were so sad to see her go. My 13yr old daughter said to me on the way to school "it's a little weird, I'm sad like I'm losing a friend". I told her that we will find you a new friend and be part of the build project. :steer::princess:

If I swing by Denver I want to swoon over your M2. I miss my M4 on a daily basis. Plus, I'm a (flawed) diehard BMW fan.

Anytime! I actually sold my M4 a while back to finish buying some property. Still miss that car, I got lucky and was able to be part of the first euro delivery group for the F8X models. I'm under the same user name at BMW M3 and BMW M4 Forum - Powered by vBulletin

I have an M4 too...but it's made by Benelli. VERY loud at the "tail-pipe..." :hillbilly:

You inspired me to shoot a photo of it...

I received my rears, but was told they were still fiddling with the fronts and they would come soon... Glad to hear you've got yours going.

What was the issue with the rear?

Hope the ones they sent me are the ones with the fix, weird they would tell you that while they sent replacement to some of us already.

The rears have a new seal, and they redesigned the way the rock guards are secured (mine kept coming loose). They no longer have a metal clamp at the bottom secured by screws and friction. Instead, these are lighter, and secure into two grooves at the bottom with two clips.

OK now I get it, would love to see picts of the new rear rock guard.

I was thinking you were talking about the front strut.

I immediately thought of this Benelli until I re-read it ;)

Here's a shot of the revised BP-51 Rock Guard...

For those not familiar, the original guards had a heavy, metal clamp that tightened onto the bottom with two clamp screws. But... there was no groove to lock into, so they relied entirely on tightness and friction to stay on. The weight of the clamp, & constant up/down over bumps kinda made loosening inevitable. This adds a groove, and also has no heavy metal clamp. Looks like a much better design. It also seems less rigid. At first I thought that might be bad, but all it needs to do is deflect big rocks from marring the shaft.

View attachment 1385757 View attachment 1385758 Got the 35s put on today with the Rock Warriors. I really like how it turned out. It's rubbing on the front mud flaps at lock so I'll remove those tonight and trim as necessary.

Looks fantastic!

I'm amazed that you aren't rubbing on a lot more than the front mud flap if those are 35's.

Any chance you could do a mounted tire measurement (see how close they are to 35" left to right?).

Also... Don't forget to move RWs & 35's from your "Coming soon" part of your sig. There have come! ;)

Yep definitely 35s according to the mfg. Of course very few tires measure what the mfg claims, and these are measuring an actual 34.2" mounted on the LC. These are significantly bigger than the mfg claim of 33.4" on the Duratracs they're replacing. That really underscores an important point of what people mean they say what tire size you should or shouldn't run. Some like the BFG 34x10.50x17 run almost 2" short while a Super Swamper runs true to size if not larger than what's printed on the sidewall.
