Yesterday I got under the truck to hunt down why windshield fluid tank leaks and after tearing it down I discovered that the hose connecting the headlights washer was disconnected. I was happy that I was spared changing the tank.
However, even after reconnecting the hose, the headlight washers still don't work despite the sound of the bump.
Today I got to hunt down the reason for stuttering in the engine performance that has been bugging me for a while. I didn't have code for it but there was a noticeable performance problem. I bought an ignition coil and started changing them one by one and testing each one. I was lucky that I got it on the third coil which had noticeable burning marks. When I turned the car on it was clear that it was the faulty one.
While working there I noticed that the throttle cable has some slack and not tight. Is this normal?
I say this because I know I have problems with the throttle body as I feel that the car is sometimes slowing when I lift my foot of the throttle like something is pulling the car back where it should cruise a little. Here's a picture and a short clip that shows the cable. Any input from the experts is appreciated.
