Noticed I had a slightly lower idle a few days before Christmas when in 30s. I needed to look for the issue as was making a road trip back home for holidays. Found the issue after I broke a plastic vacuum tip off the air box. Immediately noticed this part was previously glued in repair at 1 of 2 shop/dealer since I last had it off myself. I was upset to say the least, plus had to line up a rental car for holidays. Big thanks to Beno as always with OEM parts!

DeeZee liner.webp Began toying with using Dee Zee truck liner in the back, glad to be done with the ratty carpet...15 years is too long..

Went away from Boxing Day till New Years Day with members from our 4WD club.
Camped with the Kimberkey Kamper at a dam, swimming every day, kayaking every day, sailing with the kayak every day, lost my glasses, did some 4wd-ing.

I can't upload pictures from work.
It was only 44.4 degrees Celsius last Monday

Integrated Escort smart cord direct wire into panel

Got myself a 35 qt Yeti that fits exactly in the jerry can holder.....been waiting to do this since I ordered my bumper and saw someone on FB did it on their 80.

.....Still waiting on my spare....

Now just to decide if I should drill and tap a lower hole to lower the rack down one rung.....

Drop it on down. You'll appreciate the rear-view real estate you gain when you lower it one rung.

@HFDPNL I'm curious as to how much visibility you have in your rear view mirror. Seems like anything lower than a Highlander would be almost invisible!

I'm used to it, fire trucks don't have rear views.....actually, the Suburban I'm assigned to drive has a cage and gear stacked up to the ceiling, so I can't see out either.

Most of the time I'm not riding around with the cooler in the rack, so it really hasn't been an issue yet...but it's also for that reason, that I haven't lowered it yet. I'm worried it will be in the way more when I'm NOT using it.

Somebodyelse5.. Mind sharing those drawer system dimensions and specs... Nice work BTW...

I did some stuff...and i have very few/random pictures haha...

- replaced drivers door lock motor and programmed my new key
- weather tech floor matts in the front and back seat
- finally installed my head unit, Alpine CDA-147BT
- some fresh oil

- yakima roof rack with two bike trays and ski/snowboard rack

- LX cabin air filters
- Drawer Build :)

Great HFD, Now I need to buy myself ANOTHER cooler... LOL.

I've been curious if any of the Yeti's fit since I've had my rack and just never researched it..

Looks like I may have to pick one up...

And BTW, my vote goes to lower it a rung!! My justification when installing mine was When loaded up with 15 gallons I wanted a lower center of gravity/I feel like it may be a tad more stable closer to the tie in (swing arm) points of the bumper, and lastly with jerry cans I still have 100% visibility on the rear drivers side..my .02 cents

Thank you, and thank you for the example,....I think I may lower it after all, that looks good.

It was a terrible thing when I ran across the pic of one on an 80 on Slee's Facebook page. That guy even mounted the jerry can carrier on the rotopax holder.
I had to buy one for myself for the first time, my other two were gifts. I even tried to trade the 20 for a 35 or buy a used one. As it turns out, nobody discounts them very deeply unless they've been seriously abused.

I bought and installed the following

And

in preparation for a 2100 miles trip that covered on and off-roading.

These small additions were very helpful in organizing the trip and providing much needed space in the back of the car.
