Spent 5K to purchase my 2000 LC with 191K miles one owner with records.
added an e-bay snorkel
installed a Pioneer app 2 head unit
purchased a badlangs 12K winch
formed and welded front and rear bumpers

Other than Hail damage and non working leaking <hope I fixed that> sun roof I think I got a good deal. Its going to be used as a trail rig and something I can throw the dogs in without worry about it.
Nice work on the bumpers! do you have any more pictures on the front bumper?

Took both diff in today for 4.88s and arbs front and rear. Should be geared and locked by the weekend!

Installed the USA SPEC BT35-TOY! Nice to finally get rid of the tape deck adapter to play my music from my iPhone. Well worth the $124!

Picked up a 2003 LC in Galactic Gray with 179k. Private sale from original owner. East Coast car, but garaged and dealer maintained for entire life. Immediately installed a USA SPEC PA15-TOY, deleted running boards, installed front mud flaps, replaced both front door speakers with Infinity Reference 6032cf, and installed HIR high and low beams. Lots more work to come, thanks to all the MUD inspiration.

Finally got my truck back and it's running better than ever! Smooth steering with no play in the wheel, and it also solved a previous 'popping' noise I had coming from my right front wheel. However, the $2660 bill wasn't a pleasant sight to see...

Just purchased a DC Power Engineering 240 amp alternator, two 200 amp breakers (yes, like the ones in a home but made for vehicles, no more fried fuses) and a 250 amp ProlsoCharge 250 (23123) isolator to with with my already installed dual Odyssey batteries.
Still waiting on Mr. Brown to deliver it.

@CruiserPaul a new axle, spindle, and hub that I broke while taking a normal turn on asphalt....I guess it was just time for it to go!

Just did the front and rear diffs and the transfer case oil changes. Boy does that gear oil stink coming out. I think taking the skid plate off took longer than any other part of the project.

Rebooted CV Axles......think soon will need to replace or repair starter as it did not turn over for wife this morning but worked perfect for me...battery and alternator are both good so must be the starter. Not too bad I guess for 2000 UZJ100...hahaha. My steering box is also leaking so not sure about if you are able to replace the seals yourself or need to get a rebuilt or new one that has already been done. Think some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak and keeping it full will work for next year or so. :)

Need to get new tires soon and would like to go slightly bigger than the 275/60-18s that are currently on. Can I use 275/70 on the stock suspension without any rubbing issues? I plan on doing a small lift like OME next year but will need tires much before then.

Ordered new dt headers. Current first gen dt headers rusted out.

Yes.

Is 275/70-18 a common size for 100 owners or is that only for people who lift and go off road? I really feel like 275/60 just doesn't provide enough sidewall, even just for city use, but I'm not sure if I am going overkill. Sorry I'm a noob.

I should add that I will be driving highway 90% of the time.
