This is when i gets expensive. i have a two car garage and look at the vehicles I have!

I noticed with my ome lift, it definitely wobbles, it tracks weirdly - I have to constantly adjust steering when on the highway.

Did you get an alignment after lifting? Even if the new geometry doesnt pull one way or the other, you may have a caster issue that makes it hunt a little bit. If you did get an alignment, then you may have some worn bushings or ball joints.

The more I dig into my new-to-me TLC, the more I suspect the previous owner just let his kid drive it. I discovered today that the door mirrors are aftermarket crap. I discovered this because the glass fell off when I touched it. And when I popped the door panel off to have a look at the wiring, I discovered some crappy Infinity speakers that were too small for the oem bracket, and they were just kinda jammed in place with drywall screws....sigh...I hate half-assed work.

It was done by the previous owner, but i did notice the bushings on the upper control arm seem to be off... Ill have to check on the caster issue. According to the records, the PO did get an alignment after the lift.

Im learning all of the knick-knack weird stuff with my new-to-me-LC, although I believe everything was done correctly, im still learning!

I'm beginning to discover that previous owners are not to be trusted. Unless they're from the internet, of course. Then they're probably ok.

If they are infinity kappas - KEEP THEM, they are excellent speakers.

Meh. I don't think they're Kappas. I've got a couple sets of Diamond Audio Hexes I might drop in there later once I get a few other bugs worked out.

Yep, same, Ive only had this TLC for about a month or two. First things I did - water pump, timing belt, radiator(was s***), serpentine belt, hoses (thanks to murf at CBT). For some odd reason, this TLC has a friggin VCR in the back console, with a flip down display (vcr doesnt work), cd player doesnt work. My highlander has a better stereo setup, but thats because i installed it :) (kappas, boston acoustics sub, kenwood amp, alpine cda-105 etc..), but thats my DD

Kansas. We started Thanksgiving right at halftime and I never got around to watching the rest of the game. Tough, disappointing season!

I haven't noticed any serious changes and n the city other than the self-induced of wobbling. And I have yet to drive it on the highway or off-road to test the new setup. I tested it on speed bumps with different angles of approach but nothing that screams bad. I wonder how it'll act off-road with cornering and hits at relatively high speeds.

Do you have 60 mm of droop? Too much lift up front will create poor steering mannerisms.

Finally painting my sliders, hope to have paint (bed liner) on them tonight...

Prepped:

Now to get these installed after the cure...

Replaced all four door speakers with Polk Audio units. The driver's door speaker was rattling with any bass, so just replaced all of them. Took about 3 hrs.
