Replaced radiator and heater tees, very glad I did!

Kirk, how did you do your wiring from the swing arm into the rear of the cabin?

I've got wiring for my reverse light, license plate light, CB antenna and backup camera all in a loom. It's wrapped up with some of it running under the truck and others running into the cabin via one of the rubber grommets on the rear floor. I don't like how the bulk of wires rubs along the rear hatch though. There's a big difference in location b/w the swing arm opened or closed.

Towed the Kimberley Kamper to our camp site for a week, did a day trip with the club and found some muddy tracks.
Only damaged the rear wheel arch flare (?). I have to take it off and refit it again, after cleaning the car.

Yesterday I replaced oil, tranny fluid, front and rear gear box oil 75w90, changed rad fluid and bled brakes.

I replaced the fog light bulbs. Both of them were blown. It was quite a challenge when it's -17F

Tightened valve cover bolts. Some were so loose you could turn them by hand. 7 lbs. each. Must be a common problem. Took several hours in between talking with neighbors and playing with dog.

Not sure what rear bumper you have, but with the ARB the manual tells you to do it this way

I will run the reverse lights wire through the grommet in the drivers side rear quarter and tap into the red and black reverse light wire in there to trigger a relay and possibly a dpdt relay to provide the ability to overide the reverse light circuit and use the light as a camp light via a rear mounted switch even when the 100 is not on and in reverse.

Had to move the series 100 up to the storage area of the parking lot as I'm leaving for a month vacation. Had a flat tire and don't have a fifth stock size blizzak so I had to put the 33 TG on the front. It will not be driven with the one mismatched tire. But I have to ask; anything wrong with letting it sit with one mismatched tire until I get back? Had to ask..... Thanks:) Hope to ride in a sweet land cruiser in Tanzania while I'm there!!! -Tim

If it can be parked on a hill and be fine I am sure a mis-matched tire should be fine...:flipoff2:

Washed the mud of after camping last week.
Also found that the CDL doesn't work. At least the light doesn't come on but I hear a relay clicking.
And when going into Low gear, no lights come on however I am definitely in Low.

Went wheeling out in the high desert of San Diego and got my butt kicked by my fathers lr4 w/rear locker. More seriously contemplating lockers now!

Oh, you know, just all this...

Finished up the rear swingout mounting odds and ends. Found a place to mount a rear facing led spot light as well as an inward facing led flood light that will mount on the front side of the swingout and shine on the cargo area and in the drawer when the swingout is open and the light is switched on. Still mapping out the wiring for these two lights and the existing led flood mounted above the license plate.

The ARB license plate light does not come with bulbs. Took a bit of research, but I confirmed that they are 1895 bulbs.

I also put the factory rear mud flaps back on by using the hardware and mounting locations ARB provided.

DT Headers Installed

Took out the OME manifolds and installed the DT shorty headers. Exhaust leak fixed, increased performance, vibration at idle gone. Today was a good day.

Total time install: 5 hours

What? The hybrid sticker? An actual real steel Rear bumper?

Finally killed it?
