Removed all the emblems and sanded scuff and painted with the Testors 1813 black pearl. Then sprayed them with clear. Once cleared it's an excellent match to OEM.

Why painful?

Getting the bar fitted without knocking out the cage nuts is one reason. The other is trying to get to the bolts on the top cover for the bumper wings. 2 are easy and 2 require some fancy hand work.

What I did to my 100 series...

Wrecked it....:censor:
(Technically last month)

The wheels cost $50 for 4 on CL and maybe $30 in paint n' stuff. If I did it again Id take them to a paint shop and get a better color and paint job....but that would have been at least $60 a wheel. Life is short...experiment.

I got a powder coat quote of $75 per wheel, includes taking off LX and remounting tires and removing the chrome finish. Wife thinks I won't get the $300 back when I sell my LX at 160k miles :)

The chrome wheels are in great shape but with the lift and rock sliders I think the powder coated dark grey wheels would look good with my 33's

No lift? I've been trying to visualize what that size wheel and tire would look like on my hundy with no lift.
In our local classifieds I can find brand new wheel and tire combos taken off of Tundras for 500 to 600 bucks! It's usually the 255 size tire though. Every now and then the 275 pops up for sale with the wheels from a Tundra. But I love how the 275 looks on yours.

That is an awesome price!

Only problem with PC is you can't do the plastic center caps.

No, no lift yet.

Finally getting around to putting the OME suspension and 315s on. So far I've only had to torch and replace one lower shock bolt. The T-bars were less of a bear than I thought they'd be, but getting them set just right might be tricky. Hope to finish her up tomorrow!
