At 151,000 miles replaced brake pads and hardware, rebuilt calipers, replaced five flexible brake lines and replaced parking brake shoes and all hardware. Also, bleed and bleed and bleed fluid.

When replacing the axel to frame brake line, fluid tastes like s--t. Not fit to drink.

Must have surely replaced every last drop of fluid when finished since I ran about 2 1/2 quarts through.

Stops on a dime!

May rebuild the master cylinder just for fun.

From Jerry rigged to Metal Tech rigged!

This is what ya need to run 35's! No more rubbing and I don't even have spacers yet!

I started having the immobilizer problem on my Hundy...

I packed myself with a box of brand new 20a blade fuses and logged 90 miles RT on the Greys River road. Camping was great, ex and kid had a blast, Hundy behaved...

And then while out there, I replaced my hood struts.

Installed a pioneer deh-8400bt and cobra cb in the dash, used the amp bypass harness (big thanks to TLCFAQ.com for the wiring help).

Used a 2ft firestik antenna and a gamiviti mount, and a firestik am/fm - cb signal splitter to use the antenna for the am/fm radio as well.

Do you think the radio reception is substantially better using the CB antenna and splitter? Also, did you prep the paint at all before you put on the mount? I have the same one but I took it off when I noticed that it was rusting around where I bolted it too. I was under the impression you weren't supposed to paint the surface to get a good ground, but perhaps I was wrong.

Radio reception is 1000x better, maybe the old antenna was bad. I painted the mount the match the body color and prepped the ground side mount and also used a ground strap. I will take some pictures of the grounds later. My swr is about 2.75 which could be a lot better. I'm going to double check the grounds but I'm pretty sure the splitter hinders the cb.

It's a bit excessive...but what so you expect for $180?

Heck, the line is long enough you could tie them together and have a reverse operating hydraulic ASB!

What did I do this week for my 100? I bought it a sibling... I now have an '04 LC, blue and tan. Pretty stock... for now... I do have some OME springs sitting in the garage, and it's sitting on 285/60/18's. Kinda small for a lift? Loving the 5 speed so far. A few maintenance things to take care of, and we're good. Sunroof gasket for starters.

Ive got 285/60/18 and it doesn't look bad when I put AHC in high. Better than stock height that's for sure. 5spd is nice, almost makes up for the updated & overly complicated dash.

Haven't done anything to the 100 this week since I am on the road for work but I find myself seriously considering 35s.
