I'll be the dumb_ss that asks; what is it?
lol...I pulled every hose, and line that was easily removable. Thoroughly cleaned them, and degreased the areas where the gaskets were leaking, snugged up all the bolts I could find that were loose, and replaced every OEM clamp that was worn out with new clamps, also replaced a few dry rot about to explode plastic pieces. I haven't been this sore in a long time.
This was before lol. Best one I took

Pulled out the nasty cargo area carpet this evening. Will be working to remove the front carpet section next. Then looking for a carpet source to replace both.
Relatively new to me Land Cruiser....carpet is completely disgusting. It actually looks better with the carpet out.

Definitely looks cleaner! No easy task with georgia clay.
Also glad I'm not the only one with OCD as I'm going to order some broken OEM clips and fasteners too.
When I removed my old faded wood trim from the dash I wasn't patient enough and scratched some of the black plastic underneath. Now it's all covered with the new CF kit:

Change the front and rear diff fluid today. Went with Amsoil. The rear looked like new but the front resembled thick coffee.
The FAQ sticky made the whole job really easy. Had all the tools lined up and ready to go. Even purchased ramps.

Started re-working my roof rack. Removed the top part, cleaned up a few welds smoothed the OEM boogery ones up, removed all the rust and I am giving it a new paint job. So far I'm 9 hours in. This rack was a disaster when I bought it. Finally getting around to it.
much better and you might even get back a mpg or two.
Nick(2000UZJ) did a great job on my dads retrofit. He even made himself available today for troubleshooting. He may not be looking for more work like this but you can't go wrong with him!

Hey looks great - any chance you can post pictures of the other pieces of trim on the doors. I'm trying to do something like this and am curious how it looks.

Oil change yesterday with the JDM filter and Amsoil. Today I did the MAF and TB cleaning used the CRC cleaner. Thanks to mud on the pictures / walkthrough. Everything went smoothly. Next weekend job will be greasing the drive shaft with the new grease gun. Also need to install put in new grease and CV boot wormgear clamps from McMaster carr. Then the replace cargo hatch and hood supports with partsbylou. Cargo hatch has hit me on the head one too many times.
