Earlier this Week:
-7 Quarts of Mobil 1 + Filter
-Installed Front URB & DRing
-Installed hitch mounted URB & Dring
-Drove 700 miles from Denver to Tulsa

Later this Week:
-New Hawk LTS Pads to go in on Friday
-Drive another 700 miles back to Denver on Sat

I went and bought my first LC! Stoked to join the family
 
Purchased OEM 18" rims for my '06 LC. Bought it from a dealership with some bling bling 20's on it. Anybody want 'em?
 
Next up, 285/65-18 BFG KO's, Morimoto H1 projector retrofit, crank up front torsion bar for slight lift, weathertech digital-fit mats.
 
To get ready for the install of Slee's Double Swingarm Rear Bumper on my 1999 LC with 95K miles, I did some rear suspension upgrades:
1) I pulled the old rear upper control arms, the bushings were worn and deteriorating, and I replaced them with MetalTech's new adjustable length Johnny Joint UCA's (links)- poly bushing on one end, Johnny Joint on the other.

2) Next, I pulled the Old Man Emu 866's. These springs were in very good condition and gave me a plush, excellent ride, but I wasn't sure that they would hold up to the weight of my bedkit (double drawer), ARB refrig, and the new Slee rear bumper with dual swingarms for the tire and ladder with rotopak kit. In place of the 866's, I installed Slee's 2.5 Heavy's. (Let me know if you need 866's).

3) I got two buddies to come over and we installed the Slee rear bumper. This bumper is heavy and beefy, and I am very happy with the craftsmanship and the quality of the Anthracite Powder Coat!

I will post up some photos after it stops raining.

I asked Slee to do it, as he had previously done my Blueberry front bumper on the same truck, and I wanted his PC guy to match the color. I drove across country in the late fall, and stopped by his shop to get some work done on my 80 series, and then drove the 80 series back to the east coast, with the bumper in the back. His PC guy does great work, some of the highest quality I have seen.
 
I am thinking about to change brake oil, replace 4 tires and putting an ac cabin filter via diy instructions.

Rear brake pads replaced.
Discovered my one "locking" lug nut key was busted. I had to weld the key part of it to a nut to get the last lug nut off. Those lug nuts are going in the trash. Can't imagine being stranded due to such a silly anti-theft device.

Put 5k more miles on the 01 TLC this past month (190k), still running like new!
Mobil 1 oil change + filter + air filter
Cleaned MAF
Cleaned TB
Seafoamed intake
Greased spiders and slip yokes
Removed front speakers to replace
Removed sub box to replace
Fresh clean and wax (gives me 1mpg more j/k) :)
 
Did the 90k service for the second time , also had leaking valve covers redone. One was seeping on the passenger side pretty bad. I should now be good for another 100k . she still runs great with 205k !
 
Added bfg 275/70/18's, metal tech sliders, steelcraft brush guard and 100watt pro comp off road lights (the brush guard came with the car, finally got around to painting and reinstalling it).

Dropping the running boards really adds much needed personality to the lc. I don't think any one other simple mod can do as much to transform the lc from soccer mom mobile to off roader...

Installed some of the Weathertech Digital Fit floor liners/mat up front, They are niceeeee
 
Greased spiders and slip yokes
ordered some new rubber for the front end sway bar (rear had been done or is inexplicably in good shape?)
tracked down a rattle in the driver's door, actually it was the slider
washed it
fixed saggy rear window wiper
checked tightness on all suspension parts since IM install
drove over the hill and through the woods to Grandmas house

still need to do both diffs with next engine oil change and replace some CV clamps that are leaking DESPITE reboot.
 
Removed the rear wing from my '03. Reused the allen head screws that originally held the wing to the brackets to fill the holes. Not exactly the cleanest look, but sure beats that faded and otherwise odd looking wing (IMHO).

well, I did not install any floor mats, but I am having new front lower control arms installed. I can hardly wait to drive the truck again. I thought the rough ride was part of all the mods I have done, but I am pretty sure after seeing the bushings, they were WELL beyond their useful life. I wish I could have spent the $~1K on something flashier....but I guess the truck deserves some refreshing...
