Just had our local shop install a new starter for my LX. When they were working on the car they saw some fluid (coolant) leaking and saw that one of my heather T's were broken. It actually was all looking all good from a quick glance before a trip, but had completely cracked right where it connects so looked good to go. A job that I just kept putting off knowing it needed to be done and even had the parts for. Well luckily nothing catastrophic happened and the LX is back up and starting right away and running top notch. Thank you Higgy's for the help and a BIG reminder to do your Heather T's and double check everything.

3d printed a sleeve for my swing arm latch so that it can accept standard bike grips. The longer length of this makes things so much easier and prevents me from slamming my hands into the locking pin.

Took her for a quick test drive around. So far feels nice, I got 65mm of down travel, need to finish the body work, build gas tank skid plate, sliders, front bumper for the winch and do the timing belt/new radiator.:steer:

oooo, I have the same Tundra/Sequoia(?) wheels. Did you pick up the SLEE spacers? Such a nice wheel.

Replacing the brown 💩 with a little green 💵.
I didn't realize that these panels were available... do you happen to know part numbers? I may have to dig thru the partsouq more because I didn't see the smaller panel numbers when I searched previously. I've been figuring I'd have to shape replacement pieces myself.

This is such a great idea

Replaced the 2 front door seals. They weren't leaking, but were starting to sag in parts. The new seals are TIGHT, gotta really slam the doors, and totally quiet inside now (I did the rear two a few months back).

Up next for later this weekend is outer tie rod ends.

Updated front end lighting. Installed my LED retrofits from TEQ Customs. Light output is AWESOME!!! Also installed new OEM corner lamp housings and new fog lamp housings along with some Weather Tech lamp guards to protect all the new housings. Really freshened up the front end.

Did my first AHC fluid change on my 06. Looking at the records it may be the first time in its 230K miles😨. It definitely needed it. Fluid was black and nasty. Ride has improved a bit, although it was still great to begin with. I did an AHC health check and got specs dialed in about a year ago. The one thing I notice is how much quicker and happier it seems to pop up from N height to HI. Seems like it does it twice as fast now.

Height pictured is in LOW and system drained so its riding on bump stops

Yesterday, I installed rear calipers, rotors, and pads.

I also installed a new spare tire pulley as my original was chewed up from breaking the stupid factory wheel lock off of it
