Got some Escape Gear seat covers installed for all three rows and put in a ben3dbuild cup holder in, much better improvement. Also have his SS3 DD fog light buckets but did not have the funds to splurge on some lights so that’s on the back burner while the FJ62 gets some more attention
The vent switches on my ‘01 LC light up. I believe it’s the mirror switch that only lights up on the LX.
The rear window opener vents? If so, mine are illuminated. If that’s not what’s being talked about disregard. One’s burnt out, but it should be illuminated. 2005 LC
Yeah mines out. Been lagging on replacing the bulbs. Think my hazard light bulb is out as well
cleaned the fogs up a little. Drivers side is cracked and had a bunch of water in there so I drilled a drain hole in it too. Couldn’t pull the actual lenses off without breaking them so I was only able to rehab the outsides.
What color is that? Is it the grey? Looks brown.
It's the charcoal color! I have it on the dash cover and it does fade
Picked up my White Knuckle Sliders on Saturday and got started on painting them. Like I mention in previous post I wanted to color match them to the body clad. Light Greyish Beige Metallic UCA46. I went with Paint Scratch as per some mudders on here. Color match was on point but the applicator head left a lot to be desired. It spit the paint/ primer in random spots annoying the S out of me but she’s not a show truck so I’ll live with it. The cans were stored inside the house since they came in, outside temp was sunny and higher 60’s (So Cal). I didn’t sand the primer leaving the overall feel a little rough which is fine since it adds traction. I ordered my Dissent bumper in bare metal as well so I think I’ll pay to have it painted (depending on price) or get a Harbor Freight spray gun and a quart of UCA46. Anyone here use HF paint guns?
Yup, my bad. The vent window switches do light on the lc. It is the mirror switch that does not.
Took out the 100 to get some natural Dopamine

Coils / plugs + fuel filter for a nice lil refresh.
Radiator wasn’t too bad, about 1.5 hrs to get it out and another 1.5 to get back in, burp and clean up.
I work slow though

Finally got around to installing an Apple CarPlay-capable head unit into the 8Ball. 26-yr old truck feels damn civilized now!
In spring I'll be doing this exact job, with heater T's on top. Are the spark plugs all easily accessible?Radiator + hoses.

Makes a big difference - mine came to me with one that the previous owner put in and it's amazing. Use it every day and it's really cool to have the map available on screen and whatnot when you're using nav. How's that one read in bright sunlight? That's really my only beef with mine - Sony made the screen too dim- but it's a 7-8yo unit by now so...Finally got around to installing an Apple CarPlay-capable head unit into the 8Ball. 26-yr old truck feels damn civilized now!
