Seam sealer between roof skin and crossmembers had hardened and separated. Dropped the headliner, re-bonded all the crossmembers to the roof metal using Dupont urethane and applied some deadener. Went from tin can sound to very dampened 'thud'. Now just need to glue up some insulation and get the liner back in.

Damn those look good, mind providing a link ? Definitely want these now!
Eric beat me to it, thanks man.Rattle canned them to blend in with the black onyx 470 paint scheme.

Was going to replace my front diff breather but the hose decided enough was enough. I will grab some tomorrow and get under there and put it back on. I may also bring the breather up a tad. I decided to tackle the front drivers seat today to try and wire in the harness and seat from a 2004. Turns out my luck ran out with the passengers seat. This one eluded me. So back to the s***ty LC seat we go.

Interesting decision going front locker over rear locker. However, considering the 100 has less front flex than a covered wagon, probably a solid choice! 👍
Haha. Yep, that's exactly why I'm going front first. Rear still gets plenty flexy! There are quite a few articles/videos out there on the benefits of front first for IFS vehicles. I'm sure I'll go rear too at some point. ;)

@MountaineerLC are you running air lockers? So many reviews of air leaks has steered me to Harrops. Plus, I've had 2 80's with OEM electric lockers so I'm probably biased. Thanks.

****DISREGARD, saw that you stated you are running ARB's. Like them?

I’m not sure what post you came across, but I’m not running lockers. I agree about air lockers, they great, but the air lines seals and compressor are definitely a potential failure point.

One of these days I’d like to swap a locked rear from a 98-99 into my 01. I’d probably do a Harrop for the front if I were to go that route.

Spent the weekend in the hills around Nevada City, CA. First time fully loading the Cruiser and taking it off road. When I bought the LC it was stock with the Dobs IMS shocks on all 4, and Dobs UCAs, Dobs stock weight rear springs and a few other odds and ends.

I have since added drawers, a Prinsu rack and sliders are on their way. With the Cruiser fully loaded, with all our gear for days on trail, 2 humans, 2 dogs, it felt really squatty and squish. So now I'll be upgrasding the rear springs and getting some TT rear lower arms.

Beautiful weather this weekend.

Sorry, pinned the wrong username.

Replaced my radiator and upper/lower radiator hoses with OEM after finding some discoloration on the upper inlet of the radiator. I don't think it was near failure but it gives some peace of mind, plus there was some stop-leak in the old radiator from a fix by the P/O that I wanted to get rid of. I also replaced the heater tees that I know weren't original as the clamps on them were different, but with these ones at least I know how old they are. Finally, I trimmed the mudflaps down and cleaned up the engine cover and airbox assembly while I waited for all the fluid to drain.
