Did some fine tuning on the aiming of the HLs last night.

Slight uphill on the road with little road lighting, the cutoff can clearly be appreciated.

Looking good!

What seat covers? Got any more pics?
Coverking Cordura Ballistic Tactical Seat Covers... PO kept the vehicle immaculate, he even had the driver's seat and cover replaced with OEM cushion/cover. I am pretty OCD with my rigs, but he was on another level.

It KILLS me to have to see it in the shop everyday dust, in a million parts and pieces... It is what it is at the point. Going to need a serious detail when it's finished:

Just bought a 2005 LX this week after a good PPI. Registered and put on new plates, added a phone charged and phone holder, new cabin air filter, and a battery on one of the key FOBs. Also pourse what I had left of wiper fluid into the reservoir. Ordered a new air filter even though the current one does not look bad I have no record and it cheap. Just looking go get to know her better and plan some mods and maintenance.

+1 on both the compliment and request for the part number
thanks.

Right side, 7564160021; Left side, 7564260021….assume it is the same, but mine is a 2001.

it requires pulling all the interior trim in the rear and pulling the windows out. I did both sides in about 2 hours, maybe 3 to get the interior all back in. Consider the trim below like I did and the window gasket… do it once and only once,

You will need some black silicone to reseal and some razor blades and some other pry tools to get old one off. Razor to clean up glass between.
two bolts on front end, 10mm, motor on back, 2 more 10mm.
it does look nice though with all 3 on each side done.

Getting it ready for my sister…I’d still rather drive this than my tundra

New shocks
New 285s this week
New leather
Slight adjustment of the torsion bars
Replaced AC system
Should be good for another 300k

New leather on the steering wheel… the $70 Loncky one. Well I envisioned it as an easy project to do while watching TV on couch… yea, not that! Stood the whole time hunched over my kitchen counter, for it had the best lighting… for 3 hours!

It is not perfect, but so stunningly better than it was!

I changed the transmission oil, front and rear diff oil, engine oil, and transfer case oil. This is my first Land Cruiser, and It's my dream. It's a year 2000, and it's got 262k myoles on it. 🙂

Started deglossing the wood trim on the center console. Used a wet 600 grit sand paper then cleaned and masked before laying down a satin finish. It’s unfortunate i couldn’t get that wear mark from the cup holder lid completely off. Didn’t want to send too much and go past the wood.

Now to the windows switches and the wood inserts on the door panels, that’s going to be challenging.

Yikes! Still waiting on mine to come in, but 3 hours?

Prepping for ASFIR skid install tomorrow, removed the stock plastic and front metal plates.
Noticed a small oil weep in below area, wiped clean and will check in a couple weeks to monitor.

Also treated a couple of LCA rust spots along the welds with corroseal.

But to be clear… totally worth it. Noting I was born before Reagan was in office, so the eyes are not once were and my fingers are a bit plumper now, too.

Lol I'm right there with you man. You were smart you removed your wheel I did the leather wrap with the wheel in the truck still. Felt like a human pretzel
