Being tall, this is the best $25 I've spent on my truck, hands down. Yeah, it looks janky, but I can't see it when I'm sitting on it.

I consider myself fairly tall and tbh I dont get what all the fuss is about. I went with LC over a Runner for the headroom. The seats seem just fine to my unrefined butt. Maybe I've just been squeezing into bad seating positions for too long...

I was the same way for... a long, long time. Grew up driving a Tercel and got used to knees and elbows touching, hunched over. No lie. I'd move seats FORWARD to tuck into my crab posture. Then I drove a friends BMW-something Sport with the extendable seat and, wow. The reason stretching my legs out felt so uncomfortable was there was never any lower thigh support. I could probably go back to being used to it, but my other car ( LS460 like this ) has a seat extension and it's just night and day difference. For reference I'm 6'2.

Been driving Japanese sports cars for a long time. Maybe that's it. I might just try one of these out. Thanks!

Laying down 3M vinyl on the center section of the beat up, faded side trim. Going a bit darker than factory.

I sat in a 4Runner that had them when I was looking at them before. Sure, seat jackers help. As a direct comparison to my car that had actual extended support? No, they really don't do the same thing.

I replaced the front row window runs. It actually made a nice difference on wind noise - much more than I expected. I replaced the outer door seals last year, which made a big difference as well. I also bought new inner door seals, but they only come in gray, so I’m experimenting with vinyl paint. I’m not sure how much difference they will make, honestly.

Added a hood deflector...

Also, replaced the crappy window deflectors I installed last week with some ones from Wellvisors. I couldnt recommend them strongly enough. Twice as thick as what you'll find elsewhere and bracket mounted similar to OEM.

I loved them enough to buy a set for my wife's car and install them as well.

Also installed a Diode Dynamics Smart Tap blinker relay. Great product with a ton of options that allowed me to finalize my transition over to LED lighting. The install was... less than easy. Some searching around on here led me to the conclusion that I could get at the relay without removing anything, however that meant reaching well up behind the guage cluster to get the old one out of a very tight spot. It's definitely doable, but took me about an hour for an otherwise simple job.

Earlier in the week (last weekend maybe?l I pulled off my windshield wipers, wire brushed and sanded them and then reinstalled.

Later I did the same thing for the rear wiper. Shortly thereafter I received the more modern version that I had ordered, but I found that the classic one was a couple inches larger, so I stuck with this and the modern one is an extra now.

Lastly, today I cleaned my AC fan and condenser, RTVed the condenser housing, and replaced the cabin air filters. Seems one of the POs had cleaned the condenser as well, but hadn't thought to seal the housing to keep it from leaking. At least that meant it was a quick and easy cleaning job!

Hoping to have all my ground loop issues figured out and be able to report a successful stereo install next week!

Replaced a cracked left side headlight with a new OEM. Fixed an AC evaporator gasket leak. The square plastic tab for the grille screw, is disentegrating. I'm limping along with the original until I can order some extras.

Did you clean the condenser through the filter cover, or did you disassemble the housing?

I think for me (and anyone on the fence about if they would even benefit from greater support), the $25 cost of entry is a little easier to swallow than $100 for seat jackers... that said I may just get the seat jackers anyway because the multi mount panel seems cool... just not sure what I'd use it for.

I removed the housing cover anyway to RTV it, so that made for a super easy evolution.

I also have sliders on order. Did a full bump test this weekend and no problem with the 33's interfering on stock suspension.
The White Knuckle sliders arrived 1 day before we departed for Cruise Moab and I am so glad that they did because we definitely needed them. We opted for the straight out so it is easier when my wife dailies it. Thinking about ordering a second pair at the up angel and swapping them out as needed. Next a lift is in order I think.
