Installed LED reverse lights in bumper reflector holes. I’ve done this several times before in other Hundys but these are a bit different.

These are only about 3/4” in depth so there’s no need to cut out the reflector hole to fit in flush mount light like before. Only thing needed is to trim the back edges of these lights. Fits right in and allows you to put reflectors back on should you want to in the future. However, these are not the most expensive lights so may not last two long.

We need a link to the lights, man!

Starting to warm up in north Iowa spent a few hours on the non functional emergency brakes. This weekend I will get the drivers side and be ready for an emergency braking situation!

Both sides completed. Need to get “drum” plugs, as they were not there. I now have emergency brakes!

Done with the fronts, JBL GX608C component speakers. Up to the amp next!

Pretty much factory mounting, 3M 03614 tape on the tweeters to factory mounts.
The factory speaker wires had a pretty good awg I extended the wires so I could fit the xover.

@yj668 where did you tap into wire amp>>xover? I was thinking the factory impedance would be different for the tweeters and lowers meaning there would be a built in crossover in the harness somewhere. My thought was to splice upstream of that. Am I over thinking this?

I have been experiencing an intermittent issue where I start the vehicle and the clock and stereo don't turn on. After checking the EWD I suspected the key switch, and observed that if I rotated the key back towards the off position the clock/radio would turn on. Since the rotary switch below the key column is pretty cheap, I ordered one and installed it today. The issue seems to be resolved, but I will need a few days of driving to know for sure. I disassembled the old switch, and the corrosion inside makes me glad that I replaced it before it left me stranded somewhere! Someone could probably clean the contacts in this switch, but if you open it up be aware that there are two spring loaded detent balls that will pop out. Maybe wrap a rag around it before you pop it open.

What is that Bean seat cover it looks perfect for what I need?
Any issues with rear sight with the shelf?
I’m not 100% sure of the model name of it, but they only make 2. A single seat which only holds rod tubes and the dual seat back that holds 2 9’ rods halved. It is amazing, a bit pricey but worth it if you’re on the water a lot. As for rear sight, if you search attic racks I have some photos posted in another thread about them that show two angles of view. I don’t mind the loss of view so much though. You can still see a car about 5 lengths behind you.

My ARB Awning finally arrived! Installed to my ProSpeed rack. Pretty easy although I had a neighbor help. The ProSpeed awning bracket was a tight fit so I had to use a mallet to pound it onto the rack.
