New shoes - Cooper AT3s, on Tundra 18s. New tpms. Doesn’t look as cool as the Fuel rims and 33s, but much better for my current use.

Smart man! (Err I mean, person!) IMO that is a great looking wheel.

Installed a 100ah heated LiPo house battery. It’s charged by Victron DC to Dc charger & 160W Rich solar flex panel & Victon MPPT controller. Also installed 1000w inverter along with some Blue Sea panels. The Chins battery was shoe horned in.

Added a bus so I could get my new Thornwave PowerMon to read correctly. When I initially wired it I interpreted “load” too narrowly and only had it installed between the aux fuse box and the 2nd battery, so it wasn’t “seeing”charging input to the battery (coming from a REDARC BCDC).
The bus solves that—one wire from the BCDC, one to the aux fuse panel, and one to the “load” side of the PowerMon internal shunt.
Bus mounted perfectly to a slot in the front of the Slee battery mount.
Also finally wrote down the color coding I’m using for all the split loom….
Apologies for the sideways photo….

Not easy getting there. Two sections required winching past ice.

The elk on top didn't seem too concerned with us.

After a long daily search for months, finally scored some 18" LC wheels (4) , had them blasted, powder coated, and got some new shoes. Just need to find a spare to match.

Great choice sticking with stocks, they are superior to most aftermarket options imo.

How much did it cost to get all 4 cleaned and powder coated?

This is where rust comes from.

Hit the highway this past Saturday to go skiing in the fresh snow. Pretty much driving in salt water all the way up and back. I hit the car wash the next day and it’s still not fully gone.

I got a great deal on the set, then found a small (one guy) local shop, charged me $45 per wheel to blast, then he hooked me up with his friend that does powder coating, he also charge me the same, so ended up all said and done was $360 all 4 wheels. Every shop I called that was in the "city" was $100 or more per wheel to coat and blast.

I got mine in so cal
Blasted and coated for 75$ Per wheel but probably would have been 50-60$ More total if I had picked a color that he didn’t have in stock

Well, I have officially changed my globes to brand new ones. Surprisingly the old ones seem to be intact, as far as pencil test goes, but the fluid I drained out was super foamy/milky looking. Also, thank goodness for AZ, because getting the globes off ended up being pretty easy. We’ll see how it feels. I probably still could use a lot more replacement parts to get that super smooth ahc ride, but I’m glad it’s done. Pretty sure they were the original globes, so that’s 243000+ miles on them
