Got it all salt crusted and in line right now at the coin op wash. Just hurts to see the thick salty film and as an ex-Socalifornian.

Had a sacrificial manual Fiat 500 as a winter car in which I considered one of the best handling winter cars on dedicated winters, and I also considered it one of the most reliable cars I ever owned (more reliable than my 100), until the timing belt went earlier this fall at 130k miles.

Washed and cleaned up mine and then put it for sale on local CL/FB. Waiting to get better pictures before posting on classifieds here.

Productive week. Got LEDs installed inside, the console safe installed, and replaced a cigarette outlet with a USB. Not thrilled with the USB as my hand slipped and scratched the plastic… may be ordering a new one to fix that.

Had my apprentice assess the job. Her consulting and labor fee was astronomical, a large milk shake (for life).

Now that both our counsel have agreed on that, custom rock slider step bar is ready for install.

First new "Work light" button in place. Replacing the one situated to the right next as that's the old version.
(Not too keen on the blue background illumination but I guess I can't have everything...)

Will also move the compressor one and exchange it for a Lightforce version for the OEM look as I need more space for another light switch.
A shame that I have to move it since I really liked having the compressor switch there so I don't have to climb into the cab when opereating it.

having followed along with this rig… seeing gets my feelings stirred up. I hope a Mud member inherits this.

Craigslist and FB you say? Incoming “would you take $4000 for it?” people. Or, “put your vin on this site and send me the report” scams.

Hopefully goes to a great owner! Nice job on the listing.

You’ve probably answered this a million times. Tire size? Do you have spacers?
Yes it does it have aluminum Bora 1.25” thick wheel spacers front and rear and is on 275/70R18 tires.

I watch a guy on YouTube who uses them a lot. If your don’t mind my asking, how was pricing for your simple parts? I’m assuming that you found them reasonable?
So I find them pretty reasonable if you need more than their minimum order which is $30.

So each of my slider brackets is like $15ish, so if I needed 1 of them I wouldn’t think it was reasonable. I could have also made these from scrap, but would have probably gone through a bit and a handful of cutting discs and not been this clean.

They took about a week to arrive, without weather delay they would have arrived two days ago.

New door seals. 10 minute job and I can immediately tell how much better the door will seal. I was hoping to test drive it, but…old then new

Finally got around to rebooting coils and checking plugs. Truck is running great, but I can’t account for the first 235k miles and twenty years. Found 3 split coils, and two tubes were full of oil, so time to do valve cover gaskets and tube seals. Luckily I had a set on hand. Expect the unexpected on these…I’ve got three coils on the way from Amazon. Those tube seals were like coal.

New shoes - Cooper AT3s, on Tundra 18s. New tpms. Doesn’t look as cool as the Fuel rims and 33s, but much better for my current use.
